  10. LOL. NP, Cro-Man. I will have to just do more research. If I have no luck soon. I am just going to install a untouched XP and see what happens.
  11. Unfortunately that didn't work Cro-Man.

  14. OK, I have a friend who forgot his password to log in to XP. How can you recover the password or reset it? I have seen a few articles but I am hoping someone here has actually done it.
  15. OK, I reformatted yesterday because I was getting a error message. Unfortunately, I have to restart after I get it because all program are unusable, so I am unable to get a screenshot. I am now getting this error message again. 0x0000142 Click on OK to terminate the application. When I terminate the application, I can still no longer use any application and have to restart my computer. This will then again happen after a couple hours. What could be causing this? Is it a conflict with a application? Bad memory? Or could it be from my XPCD? Thank you

Ok, I am having a issue with a unattended install. I think it is because of a issue with the user name, full name and computer name having certain requirements (not being close in naming) but not sure. The unattended is broken here: Here are my Nlite screenshots: What is the Computer Name associated with that prevents me from using BORNLUZR as the Computer Name? THANK YOU.

OK, I had this issue last night. Uninstall Alky and then reinstall it. After that do a repair on the sidebar. It worked for me, but I am having issues now other places so I am getting my XPCD together and reformatting. So just like Kel, a reformat should be done.

Info for nLite. Have you tried to uninstall and reinstall the Sidebar?
  22. What version of TMPGEnc were you using and what problems did you have? I made KVCD's that were anywhere from 500 - 700mb.

The graphics are much better in Vista screen saver so you need the driver for your video card to use them. Download Driver Magic, it will let you DL 3 missing drivers for your PC in the trial version, that way you can get your video card driver. I use firefox, for browsing, its much better than IE.

The error for the screen saver I have gotten a number of times when testing XPCD's and it was due to my video card driver not being installed, so try to reinstall your Video Card Driver. Have you tried to do a repair on the sidebar? If not go to add/remove programs and do a repair on the sidebar, that may help. I don't use IE, so I can really suggest anything.
