Recommend me two good spyware removal programs ?
I don't think anyone mentioned SuperAntispyware which is one of the best IMHO with a free version avaolable.

Post your Firefox look
Most of you don't use the tabs bar? You know you can right click the your tabs - properties and rename for a shorter name to fit many more tabs in.

Enable Superfetch in XP SP2
More than likely an old myth I'm sorry to say. Superfetch runs as a service within Vista. Some of the comments at the link below say it does make a difference. Superfetch Myth

Best firewall
Online Armour is offering a free version that is supposedly up there with the best. As I have a hardware firewall I only need outbound control. Using Sandboxie here and by adding the below settings to SB's ini file nothing but Firefox can connect to the net from within a sandboxed browsing session. Replace firefox with the browser name you are using and remember that nothing else "running sandboxed" will be able to connect, including your email app.

How to access the true Administrator account in Windows Vista
When desktop comes up after a vista Ultimate install I set the local security policy to show the admin account at boot then I delete the user account you are forced to create at install. Control Panel - Administrative Tools - Local Security Policy - Local Policies - Security Options - Accounts:Administrator account status - Enable. Now it boots straight into the admin account but there are still restrictions on access to some files so I add "Take Ownership" to my right click menu which gives me more control overall. "Taker Ownership" Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00 [HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\*\shell\runas] @="Take Ownership" "NoWorkingDirectory"="" [HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\*\shell\runas\command] @="cmd.exe /c takeown /f \"%1\" && icacls \"%1\" /grant administrators:F" "IsolatedCommand"="cmd.exe /c takeown /f \"%1\" && icacls \"%1\" /grant administrators:F" [HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Directory\shell\runas] @="Take Ownership" "NoWorkingDirectory"="" [HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Directory\shell\runas\command] @="cmd.exe /c takeown /f \"%1\" /r /d y && icacls \"%1\" /grant administrators:F /t" "IsolatedCommand"="cmd.exe /c takeown /f \"%1\" /r /d y && icacls \"%1\" /grant administrators:F /t"

Sandboxi v3.01
Been using/beta testing for the developer since around version 1.7. IMHO a brilliant little security app. A 250 kb download, a meg installed and offers protection against any and all internet/browser exploits, zero day included, without the need for any blacklist data base updates. Takes a bit of user input but becomes second nature after a bit of use. Also has a great support forum where you can post as a guest without the need to register. Secrets Hidden in Windows XP
Same here.Everything unneeded is either stopped, deleted and or tweaked. Works much better that way and I can show myself by restoring from a ghost image to before and after tweaking. Same with all my XP Pro and Vista Ultimate installs including a few virtual machines as test beds. Even Blackviper's guide doesn't go far enough for me as I don't even have a "Workstation" service showing as I uninstall all my network properties except for TCP/IP. We are all different and if it works for you then do it.

Sandboxie
Been using/beta testing Sandboxie for a couple of years now. Brilliant little app. :thumbsup_anim: Give it a bit of time to get used to and I doubt you will be without it. Sandboxie FAQ's

Firefox bookmarks
Hi N1K and thanks for the welcome. Really nice forum layout.

Firefox bookmarks
Here I copy and paste "C:\Documents and Settings\"USERNAME"\Application Data\Mozilla" folder to another partition for a backup. This folder not only contains your bookmarks but your tabs and addons/extensions as well. If you delete the above folder FF will go through the motions of a new install when opening.
