This is just the most important to me anyhow since it has to be done at install so it was the first thing I noticed. The rest I can just import the .reg later on if need be. But ya I have tested it in vm and it still says everything is located on C figured maybe because its a vm so installed it on another rig that does have those drives with the proper letters and still everything is located and directed toward C. If nothing else it would be neat to have a option to switch your program files directory in tweaks like the public folder location tweak. I like to keep my windows partition as small as possible for backup and restore and I'm sure alot of people would agree with that or we wouldn't need a app to lite windows =)

Just noticed with test 38 atleast the import reg file tweak option doesnt always work It will save some of my tweaks such as disabling port 135 or prevent wmp from sending guid but others dont seem to get applied such as changing program file locations I usually like to set it up on another partition and its best to apply while windows is being installed or else it will break application awarness for apps already installed such as wmp and buggs others like I installed some drivers that install on C without asking but they think there located on D lol anyhow just thought I'd bring that to your attention I have tested it in vm like 6 times and it failed but have no problem applying the .reg to a up and running system.

First sorry I thought I posted this in the requests section if it could be moved there that would be great. I just wanted to say great app recently I just bought win 7 x64 sp1 ultimate for my new rig I just built so I have to create another custom install haven't done one since rt7lite 1.7 first came out so its been awhile and for noobs like me a lot of of us we don't know what each component is or the consequences or removing them. A lot of them sound innocent and you have them green so why not check them? I personally Google everything before I check it, but even that doesn't tell you everything like what will happen if you remove it because they aren't expecting you to do that when they write those things. I remember from rt7lite, I went through probably 100 installs to get it just right for my needs. Just the small things like the Japanese language pack you got green as I said why not check it I don't speak Japanese and its green but that will break Microsoft Office, least it did and pretty sure it still does, or media player plus its stock codec packs why not I use PotPlayer and its green and I have my own codec packs but that will beak WinSAT. or the driver packs what will they do exactly if I check them like in rt7lite it would say like Common modem drivers then give you a sub category for that listing of all drivers and say you can remove everyone of these but this one or you'll never be able to install a modem or printer again. Which I do see you have them redded out and it says that now. Print and document services even if you don't have a fax or printer it will break fax and printing over the internet which can be rather handy especially if you are someone who uses a free telephone and fax service like through Google. Bunch other things in here I'm afraid to touch like indexing service remember that broke something maybe it dealt with winsat also not sure. Windows search I remember explicitly do not remove it, or it broke something really major its ok to disable it in services and i'd highly recommend doing so, but don't completely remove it or untick it in programs and features whatsoever that's another thing however that it's been so long I forget what that was gave me a headache for like a week though before figuring it out. Not really asking Legolash2o or anyone in particular to sit down and write some lengthy guide out but, maybe just a spot in the guides section where everyone that's used this app for awhile can just share there experiences with a particular component just like a quick one liner, so newer people can have an idea of the possibilities and think for themselves if they can go without that or not. The guides you have are great for learning how to use the app and its functions but its set up so user friendly even I was able to jump right into it before I even realized you had guides I stopped in here to look and see if I could find some of this info out. I Just figure everyone is different in there needs out of there system one person may be saying who cares about winsat just reghack aero in, winsat is usless but what if your not tech savvy and have just bought a ssd and dont know how to set it up or take care of it such as not defraging it winsat will do that for you it doesnt just do aero. Just one out of a million examples. I can read a countless online guides to everyones own best ideas of what to remove for a light stable OS and that is great for there personal needs not the needs of someone who may be reading that post. Anyways sorry for the long post as I said still a great app and hope you keep up the great work. I'd just like a little more info on things though if at all possible. Just so everyone can see what is important to them and if it breaks something, can they live without that other component in there daily lives or do they need it. Can be tireing searching google and reading documents especially when in the end you still wont know what will happen if you actuall uninstall something that was never ment to be uninstalled =P
