Nice one N1K ! Related on the Time and the Life.... The one that I'm using here on my profile Live for Today, not tommorow or the past ! Spent to much time in the past or future and you will wonder where today went ! And this one on my profile at deviantArt Life is what happens to you while you're busy making other plans. - John Lennon

I really like this one... Knowledge is the understanding that a tomato is a fruit... wisdom is not putting it in a fruit salad !

Please note that in accordance to the Posting Guidelines #3 ("Please do not post screenshots within threads that exceed 300x200 in resolution and 150kb in size. Provide a link to the image and host it on your own webspace if possible. If you do not have personal webspace try imageshack.us or Eazyshare . Always keep in mind we have several members on 56k and loading a thread with a few large screenshots can be quite slow for them.") Please only use thumbnail for your desktop screenshot. If you don't know how to do it, you can read this topic http://www.wincert.net/forum/index.php?showtopic=4161 Thank you for your comprehension ! Scrat

[How-to] Add a thumbnail image for your desktop screenshot
Scrat posted a topic in Graphics Showcase
First you have to host your image on an image hosting site, like this one http://www.kwikpiks.com/ that N1K have found ! With kwikpiks you have the option to create a thumbnail when you upload your screenshot, or you can make your own little preview of your screenshot, and upload it. This is the default code for thumbnail [IMG][/IMG] You need the direct link for your full size image and the direct link for your little preview image (thumbnail) you put the full size image link here [IMG][/IMG] you put the little preview image link here to end up with this code to add in the post Example... I upload a screenshot at kwikpiks and ask to create a thumbnail, now I have the two images in my account. Full image: http://www.kwikpiks.com/files/47/Wincert/Screensaver.jpg Thumbnail image: http://www.kwikpiks.com/files/47/Wincert/Screensaver_thumb.jpg now the code [IMG][/IMG] I copy an paste the first link here [IMG][/IMG] and copy and paste the second link here to end up with this and I add it at the end of this post, now you see the thumbnail image and when you click on it, it will bring you the full screenshot image... -

@ steviewonder Just a little advice... you have duplicate desktop icons on your desk since you're using a Dock, you could use the Windows feature to hide the desktop icons, and your desktop will look like this ! http://www.kwikpiks.com/files/47/Wincert/2...top%20icons.jpg

No problemos ! I made a mockup image, what GIF size do you prefer 28x28, 30x30, 32x32 ?

Usually I make graphics for my personal use... I'm a little uncomfortable making something for someone ! Anyway this is my first draft concept for VUD...

Yes, I have converted all the flags .ico format to 128x128 Png, I made a small Png set to use in the Firefox extension "Flagfox" to know where the website is hosted !

I was lucky to get my hand on the Windows7 sidebar ! :dancing: just kidding Afaik the "Rainmeter" program work 100% on Vista, so if you install Rainmeter on your computer, the gadgets (skins) that I made will work ! Now we have two versions of Rainmeter, one is the last version from the original developer, and you have the Rainbar by Gavatx who clone the Vista sidebar http://gavatx.deviantart.com/art/Vista-Rainbar-V4-81263212, it come with a different rainmeter.dll, I don't know what the differences between them ! The original version was already installed on my computer (I playing with this program since 2004) I install the modified version in a different location, for now I start it with a .bat telling windows to run this one like a second instance of Rainmeter, I'm making the sidebar gadgets with that one. Me I prefer to make my own gadgets, that way I can match it with my desktop themes, for now most of the gadgets are in a preliminary state, lots of features or options to add on them, but I will share it, unless you can't wait and want the prototype right now, and the enhaced ones later ! Here the same sidebar on a different wallpaper... and other one started on a black & blue theme, the system monitoring meters have a color states after 50% blue, green, yellow, orange, red (I add an image of the cpu meter on the screenshot showing that feature)

A "summer-time" desktop For now on I'm doing my sidebars in "Rainmeter", still improving the gadgets (added chiming in the clock...) or create new ones (the last one is the sound system volume, who control the 3RVX program, when I increase, decrease or disable sound, I have the sound state level image of 3RVX who pop-up on the desktop, it's cool ! ) Lots of works, but it's fun !

That was funny... I was reading your post with the voice of Peter Griffin in Family Guy !

If you use the infoRSS ticker extension with Firefox2 and upgrade to Firefox3, the extension will be disable and will wait for an update... The current 1.1.3 version on the add-ons page of the mozilla website is not working with Firefox3, but if you install the 1.1.3 version available here http://inforss.mozdev.org/installation.html , this one will work with Firefox3 ! Just to let you know

You have the impression of "deja vu", yes I know, once again ! Congrats to the winner of this month jurgenDoe.

Probably because it summer-time ! peoples are outside, instead of sitting in front of their computer Couldn't you at least changed the defualt warezed desktop before posting your screenie? Because of my lack of interest for warez stuffs I didn't know ***** ** ** ******** was a warez :sick01: , well I remove the desktop screenshot because it look like an advertising sort for the warez !
