hey rick, out of curiosity, which sound files are you using? the 'quiet' ones? link or the louder? link or possibly some other version?

i've only thought about doing something like this for a day or two, so i havent done much research into the matter. i know nlite can do some reg tweaks, but i'm not sure about what to do if you want to add some custom ones to the build. if anyone has some info to share, or possibly some useful links about it, please pass them along. thanks

how exactly would i do that? from what i understand the original icons were completely replaced by the vista ones. maybe i'm wrong?

i came across this little program about a year ago. i've found it to be quite useful.. specially if you have to deal with sorting tons of images. it basically replaces the generic icon image with a mini thumbnail of the actual image link

i came across this site here Website and it seems like something really useful to integrate(the TTPack Package). however, as anyone can see the last time that it was updated was almost a year ago... but.. i'm thinking that someone else had to have come out with something similar.... so does anyone happen to know of an alternative addon that does basically the same thing? thanks

if i use this will it also play stuff from my web browser too? say.. like firefox for example? right now i'm using quicktime alternative and realalternative for such things. but if this does what those do as well, then i could get rid of those other two programs
