  1. First post updated with "SevenVG Black RTM" and Normal Taskbar versions release info.
  2. ^^ Windows Vista also doesnt show those startmenu icons.
  3. ^^ No offense taken but I would like to clear one thing! "SevenVG" is the first Windows 7 look-like theme for XP. In fact SevenVG is the first theme which made "Superbar" possible in XP. Almost all other themes are based on SevenVG theme. If you want proof, you can open them in Resource Hacker or Style Builder and check the resources and their settings.
  4. SevenVG RTM Theme for Windows XP: "SevenVG" theme is the First and Best Windows 7 look-like theme for Windows XP. Now Taskbar height remains same. 7. ^^ My pleasure. I'm really glad you like it.
  8. I'm pleased to announce my new theme "Vista Seven" for Windows Vista: This theme is not very special. It has been made to fulfill a few requests which I have received from lots of people. Actually not all people like those fancy Vista themes having lots of transparency, stylish buttons, shell style, start menu, etc. Many people are satisfied with default Aero theme but they want to have a few features which are missing in default theme and which have been included in this theme: 1. New Taskbar similar to Windows Seven. 2. Transparent titlebar in Maximized windows. Note that the titlebar has glass even in maximized windows which you'll never get in any 3rd party Vista theme. 3. New Shellstyle in Control Panel similar to Windows Seven. So its a theme which is similar to default Vista theme but having a few features taken from Windows Seven. I hope you'll like it. 9. Guys As we all know Microsoft released first service pack for Windows Vista this March and tried to fix all broken things in Vista including bugs, performance issues, security issues, etc. When Windows Vista was under testing, I found several bugs and reported them to Microsoft but to my disappointment, almost all of them are still present in SP1. Only 1 bug got fixed in SP1 but other bugs are still present and can be easily re-created. So I want to ask you a simple question! Do you think, its time for Microsoft to release SP2? I posted an article earlier containing all Vista bugs which can be easily re-created on any Vista machine. One of them is as following: File Renaming Bug: This bug appears when you try to change a file name as well as its extension. First make sure "Hide extensions for known file types" option is disabled in "Folder Options". Now open Explorer and try to rename a file. Type a new name and also change its extension, then click on empty area in Explorer, Windows will show a confirmation dialog box. Click on "Yes" button. As soon as you click on "Yes" button, a weird selection rectangle will be created from the point you clicked on empty area to the "Yes" button location. There are several other bugs which are very annoying. So please take a look at the following article: [Did You Know] Ultimate List of Windows Vista Facts, Bugs and Goof-ups So after reading the article, pls post your opinions. What do you think, is it time to expect SP2 for Windows Vista?
  10. ^^ I don't recommend software of ppl who steal information from other sites. take a look at following article at vista123.net: http://vista123.net/content/list-windows-v...resource-hacker This article has been shamelessly copied from my website: http://www.askvg.com/list-of-vista-system-...esource-hacker/ If you are the site owner, then I advise you to immediately remove the article from your website.
  11. ^^ You can use "Vista Drive Status" utility to show the progressbar under HDD icons. Pls look at Point 4 in "Now a few more tricks:" section at last of the tutorial.
