Hi Bober Nice to see succession of V'ISO here ,Im Ricks V'iso user untill version 8.2.1 I have some questions about your XP resources patcher,I have a XP(sp3 english) ISO that integrated WMP11,IE7and SP3UpdatePack,Can I use your XP resources patcher on my XP ? and what does it mean "NOT COMPATBLE WITH NLITE" ?,Does it mean I'll lost chance to reduce some components from my XP If patched with your resources patcher? Questions maybe stupid, I'll download it and try it.

Helmi,Thanks for your feedback,I m sure its not the reason, this problem never happen to me untill update to nLite v1.4.8 from ricks nLite Addon. From this version Rick changed the addon method that removed C++ runtimes files and instead runtimes integrated from ASMS folder. nLite will get back normal as soon as when I copy these files (Microsoft.VC90.CRT.manifest, msvcm90.dll, msvcp90.dll, msvcr90.dll) into nLite folder, so I rebuild a XP ISO that integrated some addons(Kels runtimes 4.3,DotNetFrameworkAIO,Ricks nLite v1.4.8 and so on) ,tested it on VMWARE,But the same problem still happened to me ,so now I guess the runtimes that nLite need can't be installed correctly. BTW,I have 2 computers,one installed Chinese(S) XP another one installed English XP that localized setting to Chinese,they have the same problem,any ideas.

Ricks ,This addon doesn't work to me,Nlite window freeze on scanning XP installation folder and with a error window that I can't understand when nlite starts,I found the INF file has many changes on language sessions ,Perheps no chinese localize code added cause that,I'm always use this addon so ask for add Simplfied Chinese here,thanks in advance. Rick ,I found Movie Maker will lost some items and features if the file moviemk.exe be patched vistalike icons by using VISO v7.3 ,it will show you 'The file for video transitions and effects is missing' when run MovieMaker ,If replace it with oringinal moviemk.exe then Movie Maker will work normal without any problem, I'm trying to find a solution to resolve it,Its very strange that the probelm will come back as soon as moviemk.exe take any change,btw,I make these over XP En with sp3 rc2 b3300 resource.

Kel,I do one file at a time, for example I integrate my favorite theme files into i386 folder there are four files of this theme vistaxp.theme ,vistaxp.msstyles ,shellstyle.dll ,vistaxp.jpg I do the below steps 1st step rename vistaxp.theme as vistaxp.the rename vistaxp.msstyles as vistaxp.mst rename shellstyle.dll as vistaxp.dll 2nd step(only vistaxp.dll and vistaxp.mst need CRC check and modify.) right click ModifyPE on vistaxp.dll right click ModifyPE on vistaxp.mst (os:xp pro en sp3(b3264) ,Uberpack:v11.9.2) 3rd step compress the 4 files got vistaxp.th_ ,vistaxp.ms_ ,shellstyle.dl_ ,vistaxp.jp_ and copy them into i386 folder I am sure that dosnet.inf, txtsetup.sif and otherthings are without any problems It always show me that vistaxp.dll and vistaxp.mst are not on XP CD when copying files But instead if I use PEchecksum.exe v1.3 at 2nd step under command prompt then everything is fine So I think modifyPE at right click menu doesn't real work and I'll directly try modifyPE under dos command prompt when I integrate files into I386 next time. btw,hope you understand my english writting :sweatingbullets: but I can read. :icon_cool:

Rick ,I am pretty sure it make Nlite working failure everytime even I set it to disable and trust nlite application,I dont know how to set it and avoid this ,instead Now I had to uninstall ,so nlite working get to normal.

Your IE7 and WMP11 work normal ? oh I mean I never succed install IE7 and WMP11 use nlite after servrial steps like this : IBMOEMXPSP2 + SP3.V3264 + IE7 + WMP11 + 12Hotfixes of WMP11 + SP3UpdatePack1.09 + V'iso v7.1.2 Note: step1 : Slipstreaming sp3 v3264 using Nlite step2 : Integrating IE7(onepiece_ie7addon_1.9.2_enu.7z) step3 : Inrtegrating WMP11 and 12 hotfixes of WMP11 use Nlite step4 : Nlite Integrating Ricks SP3 UpdatePack 1.09 step5 : Slipstream Ricks V'iso v7.1.2 From step3 I create ISO files for each step,they all install sucessfully and work fine, from my way I like use Nlite to shrink XP CD size that can be reduce some itemes I never use and add some usefull programes as well, After several times nlite projects,IE7 and WMP11 never succed in installation and the whole process without any error occurs and failure tips, even I keep most components not to be reduced,now it got me brain freeze, I think I met the Nlite problem,so I post my problem here any one can help me on this I am not good at english writting, where you don't understand just tell me I'll write again,thanks in advance.

Rick,I have a question on this one, Why you add WGA,OGA,WMP plugin in this third IE explorer? Wether it will confilct with ur SP3 update pack or not, I mean I plan to rebuild my XP CD recently and I'll add some programes including this Firefox addon after integrating ur SP3 update pack, now I'm afraid this will occur some errors as they have the same items , Wish ur help on this.
