Website
Yaay, bootstrap! Looks awesome. Over time if you would add some custom styling it would look amazing. As an example, the one I did in bootstrap: http://patlewispt.co.nf/ You still need Home and Products to be edited from the default pages. Other than that, nice one!

Windows 10 Technical Preview - as a daily driver
Sure - this is a technical preview - the bare bone of what Windows 10 is to become.

Windows 10 Technical Preview - as a daily driver
I must say, performance when everything goes right is better than Windows 8.

Windows 10 Technical Preview - as a daily driver
Found another bug, didn't expect it. I have a problem with USB3.0 devices on the Z87 chipset. I use MSI's Z87-G43 motherboard. Windows has difficulty with identifying the devices for some reason. Had my first BSOD while installing VMWare. I presume it was due to the network adapter installation. I have also noticed, which I didn't before - I can't run TeamSpeak Client. Overall the performance keeps good - around the same as Windows 8.1 - Memory footprint is much smaller than Windows 8 which I found cool It usually eats 200 - 400 MB less.

Windows 10 Technical Preview - as a daily driver
Played BF4 for 3 hrs today - performance didn't drop a bit - fps are even higher 3 - 6 that Windows 7! ;D I have converted a .avi movie to .mp4 4GB in size using CUDA and CPU ONLY - Same no performance drop. But a couple of minutes after that, the problem returns - Sluggishness. Looks like memory management or something along this line isn't yet fully deployed for Win 10

Windows 10 Technical Preview - as a daily driver
Hey Members! So... I have been using the technical preview as my secondary OS for a couple of days now, installed all drivers for Windows 8.1 and up until now everything works very good. It actually runs very similarly to Windows 8.1. All software I use everyday works fine, no issues whatsoever, yet after a couple of hours (5+) of running, it becomes a little but sluggish, applications take longer to launch - sometimes they don't at all. Reboot solves this problem. There aren't any BSODs as of yet and no major problems. I will continue using it more and more as a daily driver and report back ... what are your opinions guys? Thanks for reading - Bart.

Feedback: General
Overall the new Win Toolkit looks extremely smooth and modern, UI is clean and all required tools are easily to find. Font + Text is the right size for most people to read, colours don't impact on eyes (aren't too bright or dark). Icons/menus are well laid out and categories appropiately. I'll say very good work bud! B. K.

Wintoolkit - Windows 8.1 Update Intregation
Wouldn't you be able to use the latest dism.exe for all the previous images? Like for Windows XP/Vista Legolash has made a download available for Dism, you could possibly include one to the latest release. ThuGie All of the actual 64-bit files are located in the System32 folder. SysWOW64 contains 32-bit libraries for compability for emulation of 32-bit programs. At least what I think it is.

Wintoolkit - Windows 8.1 Update Intregation
Amazing stuff! - It worked. Looks like the outdated DISM has problem with newer images. Legolash, if you read this post, any way you could address this issue?

Wintoolkit - Windows 8.1 Update Intregation
Maybe. I'll just add a couple of things: DISM I use is located at: C:\Program Files (x86)\Windows Kits\8.0\Assessment and Deployment Kit\Deployment Tools\amd64\DISM\dism.exe I have just done integration of drivers into a Windows 7 64bit ISO and it only took it 32 minutes! Is there some compatibility issue here or Windows 8.1 just gives a problem for some unknown reason Edit: I have also experimented with Priority settings in Wintoolkit options. The higher I put it on the Windows 7 image the faster it completed the work (minute or two earlier each step) but it does the opposite thing for Windows 8.1 image. The higher it goes the slower it works.

Wintoolkit - Windows 8.1 Update Intregation
Hello everyone. Pleasure to meet you all I have this problem, basically I try to integrate drivers into Windows 8.1 Update 1 Pro Image and it takes ages (12 hours) to complete it. Below are the image I'm using, My current OS etc. SHA-1 of image: 89B63C548A3F6E34FF9098084247FAB7B6D2124D Image name: en-gb_windows_8.1_professional_vl_with_update_x64_dvd_4050386.iso System Spec: Intel Core i5 4670 @ 3.4GHz 16GB 1600MHz RAM 2x120GB SSD in RAID0 MSI Z87-G43 Motherboard. Windows 7 x64 I use a custom DISM from Windows ADK. I have also tried to integrate the drivers manually using DISM and it also takes so long. Why? Thanks for help!
