It seems that Lego's sept (EXCLUSIVE) iso's fail SFC /scannow. I thought this bug was taken care of but it has reappeared. I decided to run sfc ./scannow on a realtimeclients brand new win 7 pro install and got the message that sfc has found corrupted files but was unable to repair them. I then decided to test lego's sept iso_64. I did a clean install with no silent switches, updates or any other modification and it fails sfc on my VM. I am using these sept iso's as the basis for making updated win 7 iso every week. so it doesn't seem to be the version of WTK causing this or it was the version lego used to make the sept iso's. or another reason?? please advise.. I have researched and possibly found out the problem in the cbs.log. The MSDTC.LOG might be missing. There were 4 errors in the log all pointing to this file. regards...

WTK and win 8.1 serial number (product number)
pennsylvaniaron replied to pennsylvaniaron's topic in WinToolkit Bugs
lego do you think v.2 will address this? regards... -
hi. finally got wtk and win 7 basically to my liking. still working out minor kinks. I have now started using WTK with win 8.1. I made my iso with all the updates, tweaks etc. my question has to do with the unattended xml file. I used the default product key for the win 8.1 core edition inside the unattended file. it saved it in v.1.5.2.15. it was an issue in earlier wtk versions. however during the initial install win 8.1 still asks for the key to be inserted at the beginning of the installation process. Is this a bug or is wtk v.1 just not up to par with having the install bypass the product key like it does in win 7? Regards...

fixed in v.15.. thx liam ps don't know why you did not receive my PM. but I will report bugs in here. I was under the impression you were not fixing v.1xx bugs anymore.. my bad..

What's the best method to get win updates every month?
pennsylvaniaron replied to pennsylvaniaron's topic in Win Toolkit
I used WUD to download the win 7_64 security, non security, framework 3.51 and wmp12 updates from 10/14/14. I integrated them into an updated sept 9, 2014 win 7 iso made with WTK. wtk integrates some but that number is unknown. when finished and tested on a VM immediately going to winupdate in the VM shows 8 "important" updates available. I'll take it... regards... -
What's the best method to get win updates every month?
pennsylvaniaron replied to pennsylvaniaron's topic in Win Toolkit
thanks for the replies. dareckibmw link is a little too complicated (for me) to follow. I will play with the windows patch loader and see if it will do what I want. Probably a similar (or same) method is to have your latest monthly ISO and then use it with WUD, WHD or WPL to get all the updates and integrate them (AGAIN0 using Win toolkit. I "ASSume" lego's program will integrate (choose) ONLY the updates that have NOT been integrated. I'll test this on my VM tomorrow. Regards... -

What's the best method to get win updates every month?
pennsylvaniaron posted a topic in Win Toolkit
My question is what's the best method to get windows updates every month? Right now I have an updated win 7 iso with all Window 7 updates as of 9/9/14. what is the best way or program to download ONLY the updates since 9/9/14? I believe but might be mistaken that programs such as WUD or WHD supply all the updates since SP1 and not in a monthly fashion. regards... -
The youtube video by Britec is how I originally found out about win toolkit! Puts rt seven lite to shame! Great program.. regards..
