More specifically, the tool that was mentioned in the original post is a tool that is used to circumvent the activation requirements of Windows and/or Office.. We do not support that tool on this forum. We consider it the same as warez. Cheers and Regards

The Last version (1.4.38.4) have bug at Installing Theme
bphlpt replied to © KEiGHT's topic in WinToolkit Bugs
Which "last version", v1.4.38.4? Cheers and Regards -
While you appear to be able to "force" it to work that way, I would think that you shouldn't need to. Therefor this seems like a valid bug to me, at least a minor one with an established work around in the meantime. Cheers and Regards

I have to ask why you want a "Lite" version of Win7? NT6 versions of Windows do not work the same as NT5 versions, ie Win2K and XP. "Lite'ing" them using official methods such as by using DISM, which Win Toolkit uses, do not make the install source much smaller, but rather just prevent features from being installed, making the installed OS somewhat smaller, but not as much as you might think. Even then, if you ever need a feature in the future, due to some other app you later install for instance, adding the required feature back in can sometimes be a pain. With the systems of today having so much more RAM, CPU speed, and HDD space compared to older systems, even if you did save a couple of GB in installed space today you wouldn't really notice the difference in day-to-day use. Not compared to the old XP and Win2K systems where every MB made a measurable and noticeable difference. Today it is easier, quicker, and more reliable to simply disable the features and services you don't need right now. They can then simply be re-enabled if/when you need them later. Cheers and Regards

I have to ask why you want a "Lite" version of Win7, especially if you use the Ultimate version anyway? NT6 versions of Windows do not work the same as NT5 versions, ie Win2K and XP. "Lite'ing" them using official methods do not make the install source much smaller, but rather just prevent features from being installed, making the installed OS somewhat smaller. Even then, if you ever need a feature in the future, due to some other app you later install for instance, adding the required feature back in can be a pain. Today it is easier, quicker, and more reliable to simply disable the features and services you don't need right now. They can then simply be re-enabled if/when you need them later. Besides which, even if anyone else had a "lited" version of Win7, they would not be able to share it here. Any distribution of copyrighted material through unauthorized channels is considered warez, and it is against board policies to distribute or discuss warez material. If you really want a "lited" version you will need to learn to make your own or look elsewhere. If what you are asking for, which I think you are, is if someone wanted to share their .INI files and/or scripts so that you could use the same version of the same tools they use and your own Win7 source and keys to make your own "lited" version, I don't see a problem with that, but if you haven't learned how those tools work yourself, then there are a lot of things that can go wrong. In my opinion, a "How To" tutorial would be a better thing to share. And my above question of "Why?" still applies. Just sayin' ... Anyway, if this is what you were looking for then this thread should probably be moved to the Win Toolkit subforum. Let me know if that is what you want to do. Cheers and Regards

[Slim] .NET Framework 4.6.1 Full x86/x64 (2-27-2016)
bphlpt replied to ricktendo's topic in Installer Repacks
Because that is the way that ricktendo chooses to distribute his work. The difference between the two versions you mentioned is this one is an installer and the other one is an addon. Both should be able to be installed using Win Toolkit. Besides trying a different browser and disabling extensions, have you tried the other 5 five suggestions I gave you to resolve your connection issues? Cheers and Regards -
[Slim] .NET Framework 4.6.1 Full x86/x64 (2-27-2016)
bphlpt replied to ricktendo's topic in Installer Repacks
I have verified that the link does work fine, (after you wait 5 seconds then "Skip Ad" as Thiersee explained), downloads quickly, and the file is correct once downloaded. Since Thiersee and I are on different continents, and it works for both of us, then I must concluded there is nothing wrong with the link. @sukh, where are you located? (just out of curiousity) Which browser are you using and have you tried a different one? Factors that I have found that can effect your ability to download from, or connect to, a particular site are: 1) The site is down for some reason - check with http://www.downforeveryoneorjustme.com/ or something similar 2) Your DNS provider - I use OpenDNS but there are several others 3) Your HOSTS file 4) A setting in either your Firewall or Anti-Virus - Also check your corresponding settings in your router 5) An extension in your browser - to confirm, you can temporarily disable your extensions one at a time until they are all disabled 6) The browser itself - try a different one, there are many free ones to choose from, including many portable ones that don't even need to be installed 7) Very, very rarely your ISP might be at fault, you would have to call them to confirm I hope this info helps you fix your connection issues. Please let us know which of the above was your problem. As to how to integrate this into your Windows 7 install disk, this particular version is an installer which is meant to be installed on a running system, or at least after the desktop has appeared, perhaps using WPI or something similar. Win Toolkit should also be able to use this version, if you use the appropriate switches. You might prefer to use this version - http://www.wincert.net/forum/topic/11127-microsoft-net-framework-451-for-windows-7/ - which is specifically set up as an addon to be used with Win Toolkit. [Solved] 1.4.37.x - Important KB2670838 not integratable :-(
bphlpt replied to Cartman586's topic in WinToolkit Solved Bugs
Where did you find this? The one listed at "Latest Builds" is 1.4.37.19. EDIT: Never mind. It's on the main Download page. Liam just must not have had the chance to update the "Latest Builds" page yet. Cheers and Regards -
I could be wrong about this, but I seem to remember that there were some files that needed to be in one place if the install source was burned to a DVD for install, and a different place if install was done from a USB. Could this be one of those cases. I'm just going from memory so I could have this totally messed up. Cheers and Regards

[Solved] wintoolkit freeze when adding drivers
bphlpt replied to adminxp's topic in WinToolkit Solved Bugs
So the problem still exists or not? ie no matter how many or which drivers are involved it always freezes on the last one? So the problem does not occur for Win Toolkit versions newer than v1.4.37.9? The newest test version is good? I just want to make sure I understand. Cheers and Regards -
[Solved] wintoolkit freeze when adding drivers
bphlpt replied to adminxp's topic in WinToolkit Solved Bugs
That may be so, but IIRC, adminxp has successfully made builds using previous versions of Win Toolkit that literally integrated many 100's of drivers, maybe 1000's. Not that I would suggest the average user do such a thing, I certainly wouldn't, but if it worked in the past, then I believe it should keep working that way, as long as it doesn't mess something more important up, but that's just my opinion. Cheers and Regards -
[Solved] 1.4.37.x - Important KB2670838 not integratable :-(
bphlpt replied to Cartman586's topic in WinToolkit Solved Bugs
@Cartman, We really appreciate your testing each build to see if this problem is resolved, we really, really do. But please confine your posts about it to a single topic. And if there have not been posts by other people in the thread since your last post, there is no need to make a new post with your latest update. Simply edit the post and add your next comment. There is no benefit at all in this forum to raising your post count, and it makes the threads harder to follow and harder for Lego to keep track of. Thanks for your cooperation in this matter. [ NOTE: I'll let Lego decide if it makes sense to merge this thread with this one - http://www.wincert.net/forum/topic/12131-mystic-thing-on-kb2670838/ - since they both are about the same KB, but maybe different aspects of it? ] Cheers and Regards -
That's great mooms! I don't have access to an XP install to test myself, so hopefully 5eraph can confirm this, since he was the one that originally posted the problem. Cheers and Regards

ImDisk version 1.7.6 build 25 with ImDisk ToolKit
bphlpt replied to TRSyntax's topic in Switchless installers
Thanks for the info! Cheers and Regards -
Remember, removing components with Win Toolkit does NOT typically remove much if anything from the ISO, but rather those components will not be installed so your installed size will be smaller. If the smallest Win7 ISO is your overriding desire, then you will probably be happier using a different tool. Cheers and Regards
