  2. Not posted yet. Coming soon... Cheers and Regards
  3. @Thiersee, before the OP does that, he needs to verify the has access to an appropriate license key. Cheers and Regards
  4. This is now an ancient version, though I guess you've proven that there are folks that still like it. Anyway, that by itself is proof of a reason why file associations are not set by this app. They're easy enough to do after install, and there are several different archiving apps available, not just at least three different versions of 7-Zip available just from Reaper, but also WinRar, WinZip, etc, etc. Different folks have their preferences of which one they like most, and sometimes it's different based on file type, and sometimes circumstances. But that's my opinion. Cheers and Regards

  11. From what I can tell, they both have the same fixes applied, but the 1.5 thread has some additional features that the 1.4 doesn't. Cheers and Regards

  14. request filled
  15. Nik seems committed, to both Wincert and Win Toolkit. And Liam also has had someone else donate FTP space for him to use as well, so I think all is good now. Cheers and Regards
  16. You should be able to create an AIO install disc with versions of both Win7 and Win8 using Win Toolkit. Since you want the tweaks and apps installs applicable to all the various OS selections, I would suggest using something like WPI for them, and for ease of installation and maintenance, I would put those on a separate disc. If you are going to use USB install media you could put them all on the same one, but keep them as separately accessible folders. If you were talking about Win Toolkit from the beginning, then you probably started this thread in the wrong place in the forum. Cheers and Regards
  17. That's not correct, at least from what I understand. If you have "updated" to MU, ie you are getting updates "For Windows and other products from Microsoft Update" and not just Windows, then even though your "in built updater" is still titled Windows Update, it is indeed getting all the updates possible from Microsoft Update. Cheers and Regards
  18. If you already have your Ram Drive set up, you should be able to just point Win Toolkit to it, can't you? You can then use it for as much as you have Ram Drive space available and save the image somewhere else if you delete the Ram Drive or shut the computer down. Yes, the ImDisk Virtual Disk Driver is a free option, but there are enough other options that it wouldn't be fair to ask Lego to have to support them all. Cheers and Regards
  19. wtf? A $100 New Zealand donation just to skip adfly? How much is that in US$? I'm sure Legolash2o would appreciate any donation you are willing to give him, and he most certainly deserves it and he shouldn't have to do anything else in order to get a donation from you, but you do know that all you have to do to avoid adfly is wait 5 seconds and click "Skip Ad", right? Cheers and Regards
  20. Why would it be on an installed system, unless you specifically copied it there? It should still be on your install media. Cheers and Regards
  21. As to the OP's question, it also depends how the component was "removed". If it was removed the way that vLite and RT7Lite remove components, then they are usually truly removed and reinstalling them is typically not possible. I have seen convoluted methods explained for certain components, but it is usually best to start over. This is one reason why I never remove components, I just disable the ones I want to stay out of the way. Cheers and Regards
  22. Have a Happy, Kel my friend! Cheers and Regards
  23. Thanks, Reaper! Cheers and Regards
  24. @ElmerBeFuddled, .NET 3.5, and earlier, are part of Win 7, not a separate addon or install. Updates, when necessary, should also be included automatically by WU/MU without user intervention. So unless you do something specific yourself they should already be installed and active, I believe. .NET 4.0 is a separate install, and .NET 4.5, if used, should completely replace, or include, 4.0 and only 4.0. Other .NET frameworks will not be affected. As to why you still see the .4.0.3.319 folder, I haven't researched this so I'm guessing here, but I'm assuming that when 4.5 replaces 4.0 it either (1) continues to update 4.0 like 3.5 continued to update 3.0 and 2.0, or (2) puts hardlinks in the 4.0 folder, actually using the 4.5 files. The reason for doing either of these would be to handle poorly written software that checks for the availability of .NET by looking for specific files in specific folders. Bottom line, as a user, once you install 4.5 you don't have to worry anymore about updates for 4.0, you won't be offered them or see them as installed. @sp0ilesbrat, AFAIK all mention of any .NET greater than 3.5 regards to Win Toolkit has been by a user, not by the author Legolash2o. If any change is put in place to affect the use of Win Toolkit on XP I'm sure it will be announced and probably discussed in advance. Cheers and Regards
  25. I guess it depends on how exactly that Lego is checking for and then using the required .NET functions. Cheers and Regards
