Who did you find that was more reasonably priced? Cheers and Regards

If it's not too difficult, it would seem to be appropriate to support Windows 6.xx and greater, ie Vista onward, since their structures are internally similar/compatible. Especially since it has now been proven that it does work if proper preparations are made. It might help to widen Win Toolkit's user base. Just like having a version of WinToolkit that can continue to be used with XP as host, even if with limited capabilities, can also make it easier for some folks to get started with Win Toolkit and can also increase Win Toolkit's user base. Just a thought. Cheers and Regards

Looks good! Must be nice to have gotten the extra Lenovo C260 AIO for free. I wish that kind of luck happened to me. Do you use a KVM switch to share keyboard and mouse between the Levenos and HP? Network everything through a router I assume. What is the rhyme or reason for what you do on which machine? Do you run Win10 on all the systems, except the DNS of course? Do you run other Windows versions in a VM or what? Just curious. Are you happy with the UI of Win10? If not, you might want to check out some of the addons and changes that NoelC has implemented to make Win10 work better for him as a work machine. As an example, you can see here what he has put together to use for Win 8.1. He lists in the post where you can get the pieces needed to change your own system. The Win10 changes are the same or similar and will be finalized after Win10 is RTM. You can search on MSFN for where he discusses Win10. Cheers and Regards

By the way, it seems that Liam has NOT been reading this thread! So until we can convince him to get involved here, it would probably be helpful to him to do as he suggests and create a thread for him with the list of which KB that Win Toolkit needs to move into silent installs or any other updates we wish were in v1 or we want to be sure he includes in v2, if such a thread does not exist. If such a thread does exist, and has been updated with everything we know, a link to it might be appropriate. Hopefully, he will update v1 to be as useful and stable as it can be so users have a reliable tool to use while he is more actively working on v2. Cheers and Regards

I understand, but many folks post in that thread in English, including Thiersee, Pink_Freud, X-Force, dareckibmw, abbodi1406, me, and others. Any post in English is always responded to in English by rhahgleuhargh or whoever else might know the answer. And of course there is always Google Translate if necessary. Just take a look at the last page or two of the thread to see what I mean. Thanks in advance for your attention. Cheers and Regards

Liam, I know you are concentrating on v2, as you should, but is there any chance of any minor updates to v1, such as moving appropriate updates to RunOnce or other update rearrangements? If you are not already, you should take a quick look at http://www.wincert.net/forum/topic/12103-10-juin-2015-update-list-gdr-pour-windows-7-sp1-x86x64-fr-en-de-es-it/ on a regular basis for it's lively discussion and problems/issues that are being fine tuned every month. Any help for Win Toolkit doing things more automatically would be much appreciated. I would assume that whatever then is found to work correctly in v1 will directly transfer to v2, so it wouldn't be wasted time on your part. Cheers and Regards

In WTK you can choose "Add Updates + Subfolders", but you can also do in WUD the settings from Readme.txt (Post #1) to get all updates in one single folder. Advantage of the last one is: loading the list in the next month you can see what you have already downloaded (green) and what new is (grey); look at my post #674, third picture. Thiersee Just to clarify, the advantage you list is for having everything in one folder, or folders for each category? If it is for everything in one folder, then what are the advantages of using folders for each category? ie, when is it best to use each method? Sorry for the noob question. Cheers and Regards

I think it should be what works better for you, giving you better feedback to allow you to progress faster. At the beginning, assuming you can get enough folks to do active testing and give good feedback, it might help you more to get more eyes looking at it quicker on different systems to discover potential problems, so release after every addition. But if that is more confusing or annoying for you, then release once a week. Strictly from a user perspective, once a week is better - less chance of confusion that they are using the latest version, and with more testing by you hopefully the additions are smoother. But for the new v2 version, since the v1 version is relatively stable, I think you should do what is best for you. Bottom line, whichever way ends up getting a better finished product to the user quicker, is what will be best for the user in the long run. Cheers and Regards

Microsoft .NET Framework 4.8 for Windows 7
bphlpt replied to abbodi1406's topic in Win Toolkit Addons
If you aren't interested in rebuilding the image, but just want to update your existing install, you could use Rick's installer repack - http://www.wincert.net/forum/topic/10480-slim-net-framework-452-full-x86x64-4-19-2015/, unless I misunderstand what you are trying to do. Cheers and Regards -
Problems widht new installation from USB
bphlpt replied to Hans Jakobsson's topic in Microsoft Windows 7
What always works, in every forum that I have ever been to, and so is what I always suggest no matter what forum you are on, is to upload your images to the free image hosting service of your choice, such as TinyPic, upload your image there, then include a link to the image in your post by using the "Image" button in the edit box. That saves bandwidth for the forum, and actually makes it easier on you in case you need to post the image in more than one place. Cheers and Regards -
It seems Kees030 solved his issue by where his VCD.reg was located. (See above in his last post on the previous page. ) Cheers and Regards

You might want to look through part of this thread - http://www.wincert.net/forum/topic/12103-2-juin2015-update-list-gdr-pour-windows-7-sp1-x86x64-fr-en-de-es-it/ - (start by just looking at the last page or two). It's a fairly lively discussion of updates that are really required, and which ones can or should be hidden or ignored. (Google translate should help you keep up.) Cheers and Regards

Thanks for posting! We'll leave the thread so that others will remember to check their USB if they have similar problems. Cheers and Regards

I think we'll have to wait until WTK 2 gets closer to being released before we'll know for sure. Cheers and Regards

Only thing I can say is that I have seen reports that some folks have simply hidden KB3022345 to avoid having it installed on their system. Why it is being installed on your system when you have not included it on any update list you are using i have no idea. Cheers and Regards

@abbodi, Would you provide an example set of DISM commands demonstrating what you mean? Maybe, for example, what is currently necessary? ( Not that I in any way expect you to continue to do this every month, but it would give folks a working example that they could then modify each month as they see fit.) What does the exact number of updates that it can efficiently handle depend on? The amount of memory installed? The free space available on the disc? Which updates that are involved? Or what? @Liam, Ideally, would it be possible for Win Toolkit to incorporate an algorithm to automatically create these DISM session "groupings" when integrating multiple updates if it indeed measurably speeds things up? Just a thought. Cheers and Regards
