  1. So I guess if you are retired, as I am, that there is no way to take advantage of this offer? Cheers and Regards
  2. And perhaps leave the link to the folder at the beginning of the first post in this thread for easy access? Cheers and Regards
  3. Thanks N1K! Cheers and Regards
  4. Thanks, Liam! Cheers and Regards
  5. I'll take a license please, N1K. Will you also provide a download link, or should I just download from the site? Cheers and Regards
  6. Perhaps N1K could change ownership of this thread to you under whatever name you would like? Either that or just start a new thread. Either way it would be nice to have the pics and other info updated if the app is still viable. Also, do you know if it is applicable to Win7? Cheers and Regards
  7. As was discussed in another thread - http://www.wincert.net/forum/index.php?/topic/9178-create-your-own-autounattendxml-all-in-one-x86amd64/page__pid__79672__st__40#entry79672 - I would probably first try reordering the .xml file so that the x64 subsections come before the x86 subsections in all areas of the file and see if the behavior changes. Cheers and Regards
  8. @myselfidem, I believe the general question remains: Is it better or more reliable to order the x64 sub-section before the x86 sub-section in any area of the Autounattend.xml? If it solves a problem for anyone, and does not cause a problem for anyone else, wouldn't it be better to do it that way? Cheers and Regards my friend
  9. See the link given four posts above yours. Cheers and Regards
  10. @oguz, I'm not sure what you're asking - Legolash2o might, but I don't. The way I understand it, if you turn on a schedule for Disk Defragmenter it turns off the automatic defragmenter, which I believe is correct. You pick one or the other, you can't have both. Why would you want both? Or did I totally misunderstand you? EDIT: And by the way - this is not the place for requests anyway. Cheers and Regards
  11. I think he's talking about getting something other than the ERRORS.TXT file, ie "PCPerformer_Jubse13t.exe", but I can't imagine how he managed to do that. Cheers and Regards
  12. @hornet512, If you are ever able to get your Autounattend.xml working correctly for your 9 image AIO x86/x64 DVD I would love to see it. I assume it will be set to ask the which Os and where to questions. Thanks in advance. Cheers and Regards
  13. This might be an off the wall question, but is there a program that will create an Autounattended.xml file for you using an existing live system as a model? In other words, it will create the Autounattended.xml to produce a system setup just like your existing system? It was just an off-beat thought. Cheers and Regards
  14. If I understand correctly, Logon Count is tied to Auto Logon. In other words, you set up AutoLogon as to which account name and password to use to logon automatically, and you set Logon Count to the number of times you wish that to happen. Then each time the computer logs on automatically, the LogonCount is decremented by one in the registry. When the count reaches zero, it will no longer logon automatically. This feature is usually used in a training environment. If you set the logon Count to 9999999, then it disables the countdown, so AutoLogon happens forever. I could be wrong, but I think this is correct. Full disclosure: I actually finally figured this out looking here - http://www.rt7lite.com/faq21.html. Look about 2/3 of the way down the page under Creating and autologon user accounts: Cheers and Regards
  15. PLEASE, give the man a break. He has said he will get to it when he can. Cheers and Regards
  16. @eltunisie, The secret to being able to download from mona's link is you MUST be logged into hotfile, at least that works for me. Creating a hotfile account is quick and free. For the alternatives you mentioned: megaplode - must be megaupload.com ifile - must be ifile.it jampufile - ??? - Google doesn't find anything close to this spelling For the reg to inf - you could try the on-line converter here - http://vb.nl.eu.org/homepage/reg2peinf.aspx - or try Reg2Inf Converter v0.46 described here - http://www.ryanvm.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=2169. The download is also a skydrive link, but you do NOT have to be logged into hotfile for access, so that might work for you. (Since it apparently is possible to set up downloads that do not require hotmail login, hopefully mona's links could be modified in such a way to remove the login requirements as well? That would probably make it easier for some people.) Cheers and Regards
  17. @crashfly, Main difference, as I understand it, between Rick's and Trobada's is that Rick's is client + extended capable where Troubada's is client only. Cheers and Regards
  18. I could be wrong, but I'll make a guess. It might like if you remove printer drivers - it removes the ability to support printers completely, so you can't add any printer driver no matter what you do. So if this is true and modems are handled the same way, then yes, you can't install any modems if you remove modem drivers. Cheers and Regards
  19. Yes I know. Just mentioned it here for those that didn't know. LOL I'm lazy, too. That's why I didn't go through all the pages either. But I guess if you're willing to fix them, I ought to be willing to point them out.
  20. Keyboard shortcuts: When W7T first launches, focus is on "Check for W7T Updates" which {Spacebar|Enter} will select. This is probably the best starting point, but if you then try to navigate using {Tab|down arrow|left arrow} or {Shift Tab|up arrow|rightarrow}, you don't quite go where you expect to go. ie up or down aren't always visually up or down. The current Tab order is: (arrow keys only navigate between buttons) Check for W7T Updates > Windows 7 Toolkit Guide > W7T Options > About > Forum > Donate > Welcome Tab ({right arrow|left arrow} navigate tabs) > Highlights all Welcome tab text (arrow keys then let you scroll anywhere in tab text) > Show 'Welcome' tab on next startup > Check for W7T Updates Buttons are now in the correct tab When buttons or Show 'Welcome' have focus, Spacebar acts like left mouse click. When buttons have focus, Enter acts like left mouse click. This is default, it's Windows that sets it not me Alt key will show (by underlining) the alphabetic key that will "launch" that button, (doesn't work for Tab navigation) but it's always the first letter of the button label. Since more than one button have the same first letter, this is not always useful. When a new window is launched, like W7T Options, the only way to close the window using the keyboard is via Alt F4 or Alt Spacebar for other options. You can now tab to the bottom bar options. For W7T Options, Tab order is currently: Main tab ({left arrow|right arrow} navigate between tabs) > Select your language > options ({up arrow|down arrow} navigate between options) > Main tab I've sorted out the tab index's for both tabs But when in options, it starts with focus on Misc - Auto Save and Unmount (AIO), which is out of view, rather than at the top of the option list. {Up arrow|down arrow} navigate and Spacebar checks or unchecks. But as you navigate you also navigate to the subsection headings, which highlight all options in that subsection, which is a waste since you can't check or uncheck them all at once. While options have focus the scroll wheel will scroll the options up and down. There is no way to navigate to the "Apply Settings, "Undo Changes", or "Close without Saving" that I have found without using the mouse. You can now tab to the bottom bar options. I won't go through all the various tabs and windows, but you get the idea of what I'm trying to say. "Fixing" Tab order and Alt behavior will really make using W7T a lot more convenient and quicker for us old timers or anyone who is a keyboard junkie and is not hooked on the new fangled contraption they call a "mouse". LOL All this is pretty much standard, built-in Windows behavior, which could be a little more useful if fully implemented and visually consistent. It's a pain, I know, to force or disable Tab order as appropriate, but since you want to make it perfect... You might also want to move the Check for W7T Updates button to the top button. Cheers and Regards
  21. Well, not if you don't KNOW another language. THAT's what I was asking. How many languages do you know and therefor are you able to translate for? Or are you saying that Radialix 2 is smart enough to automatically translate to whatever language you choose? If so, I would think that program would cost a LOT more than $100! LOL Cheers and Regards
  22. WOW! loginvovchyk definitely does not appear to be just any old hacker, and did not just "cannibalize" W7T. Radialix 2 seems to be quite the professional tool. I wonder if Radialix has the capability to export all the English strings in such a way that this file of strings could be distributed to people who could translate them into strings in their own language, which could then be added back into the program, translating it into that language? loginvovchyk, how many languages are you able to translate W7T into? Are you volunteering your services for the good of the community? Ideally, W7T would be modified in such a way to use an external file for the language translations. If no external file is present, English is used. if an external language file is present, then it is used. That way, W7T, and the language translations are separate. To switch languages, switch language file. Of course, I have no idea how difficult it would be to modify W7T in such a way. Cheers and Regards EDIT: Liam, from the pictures above at least now you know your encryption worked. LOL
  23. @loginvovchyk, Since you did the localization for Russian, and since Legolash2o has politely asked you how you did it, perhaps you could explain to Lego how you did it and share back with him your translation source code? Then maybe Lego could add the Russian in officially in such a way to not mess up the logs and provide useful feedback to Lego when there is an error. You might even become one of the official translators. Lego might then be more easily able to add in the support for even more languages for the benefit of even more people. It seems like the least you could do. Cheers and Regards
  24. Sorry, was out for awhile. Maybe say on the button and/or the tooltip WHAT you are browsing for rather than WHERE, since the box that opens will let you navigate anywhere on your system. ie "Browse for Folder" or "Browse for WIM" or whatever is more clear. Just a thought. Someone else might have better words to suggest. Done: Check your original post, change to 'Browse for WIM' and 'Browse for DVD', i've also added tooltips.
  25. AIO Tool, first screen. Button choices are Browse DVD and Browse WIM. That kind of implies that you can't browse your HD or USB. Done: Changed them to Browse for DVD and Browse for WIM, also they both now have tooltips.
