Can I use normal .exes files as addon's like for instance acrobat reader installation exe ?

Hi just want to know after windows setup is complete and the silent install starts I can install my software but if any of the software restarts the PC I get an error witch causes silent installer not to continue after reboot what can I do because Microsoft essentials and dot net needs to reboot system
