Thanks for this unique tool. Just a small feedback: CabTool.exe GUI during processing has an incorrect spelling "Cancell". It's the same within DXTool for cabtool. Hope this can be corrected. Current version for CabTool.exe is still at v1.0.2.0, right? Is there any way for cabtool to override an existing .cab file if exists when making .cab file ? Currently it creates a new archive even if it exists, with some timestamp behind.

Actually I don't really know why kels command is not working. You got me thinking... so I know why now... Actually what you know from the internet is generally right and Kels command is not wrong either. But because advpack.dll does not support RegisterDLLs directive, so it "appears" the command is not working. But if you include additional directive into the [DefaultInstall] such as profileitems, the ProfileItems actually get executed. You can try the following code by including in the default install section like below

Whenever I launch Drvspace.exe /config to make configuration changes, I click apply and was prompt to start DSI. I usually answer "Ok". Then I notice there was a new process instance in Task Manager, Drvspace.exe. So everytime I made changes thru the configuration, a new process is created. I end up having multiple processes. Is this bug or by design?

It's 1.2.1.452 in post #1.The closest change log is mentioned in 1.2.1.451. There is no mention what is change in 1.2.1.452 but it can't be too far off. I would assume there is no apparent different between .451 & .452

Frankly speaking, a newer version has some improvement over the older ver 121375 http://forum.voidtools.com/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=592 Nevertheless, it's your choice if you stick to older version. Cheers

Repackage to inf addon, v1.2.1.452 Includes .lng file. Known /possible issue: Context menu may not appear having the 'right string' description in your non-English language. It seems to appear correct on an English language system only. If you choose to create shortcut through Everything GUI (Option -> General Tab -> Start Menu Shortcut , -> Desktop Shortcut, -> Quick Launch Shortcut) on a non-English platform, during uninstall, the shortcut might not be removed due to different string used in the shortcut name. The only way is for you to manual edit the inf to match the shortcut name in your own language. (This is beyond my support/knowledge)

While trying to update to v 5.5.6.2, the installer now requires you to be online before it will install. Otherwise a pop up message will appear and you cannot proceed with the installation. I do not know why it need to go online. The developer has change its installer routine. Perhaps check / send some information to its server and maybe download some files behind your back. So it is something I do not like or feel comfortable about it. Nevertheless, I repackage this to inf addon so there is no need to be online to install. Includes all usual plugins as before. English only. Updated to v 5.5.6.2

I tested Everything-1.2.1.452Int_SI.exe several times in HFslip and it never stay open at T13 (It pop up a very short moment and Autoit suppress it. This is be design) For the benefit of your case, today I tested my silent installer with nlite and monitor at T13. It did not stay open at t13. It pop up a very short moment and Autoit suppress it as well. Hence I don't know what is wrong at your end that keep it stay opened. Autoit would have suppress it at T13. But if you perform normal install, it will launch Everything at the end of installation. Does anyone else having Everything opens at T13 ( using Everything-1.2.1.452Int_SI.exe)?

To what I see, on it homepage (top -right), the program is written with Delphi / C /ActiveX components programming lang. It uses several dll to translate the approprate file information to the UV GUI. I'm not a programmer so how they are translate to the UV GUI is beyond my knowledge. Correct.Can also written as HKCR,.pdf,,0x0,SumatraPDF as they are basically the same thing. Usually, just export the .reg key, then convert it to inf using reg2inf. This will ensure the syntax stay correct before you tried to cut down some syntax for uninstalling purpose. Usually I don't manual code the reg inf syntax. I just use the conversion tool to do it for me.
