Thanks. I removed the program shortcut from taskbar. I try to keep it as minimum as possible to allow more space for running programs. Initially I thought of trying Camtasia but this came along, so I got it installed & tried out. It is very easy to use. I'm keeping this addon

To add reg detail, use the REGWRITE function of the autoit script. Generally, add your REGWRITE code after the installation. Check the proper syntax from AutoIt3.chm (Autoit help file).

Tray Pilot Lite allows you to hide the System Tray window. It might be useful if you have too many icons in your System Tray and there is not much place left for the buttons of your running applications on the taskbar. Regshot 2.0.1.68 Unicode (32-bits only) - For Monitoring Registry Changes Homepage: Program & webpage are in Russian lng Homepage translate to English RegshotUnicode20168_addon.cab (Set English Lng as default) Size: 302.38 Kb (309,637 bytes) MD5: 5A042AA9610C60DBC4187AA23333F332 Note: Installed to Program files\Registry Unicode A small demonstration on it usage: ----------------------------------------- To :Disable "Copy Protect Music" in Windows Media Player using registry tweak. In the Windows Media Player, under "Options", "Rip Music" Tab, the "Copy Protect Music" is enabled / checked by default. Basically, any music you rip to WMA is DRM-enabled. But is rather restrictive. Hence it is better to disable this feature. Using Regshot Unicode, you can find where is the setting in the registry. 1) Launch Windows Media Player and go to the Options -> Rip Music Tab 2) Launch Regshot Unicode program. Take a 1st shot first (Pre-change); Select "Whole Registry" 3) In Windows Media Player, Uncheck "Copy Protect Music". Click "Ok"; Select "Whole Registry" 4) Take 2nd shot (Post-change) ;Select "Whole Registry" 5) When the next screen comes up (Select keys including to report), click "Ok" 6) Report is in html format. Scroll to the bottom page. You should have [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\MediaPlayer\Preferences] "BackgroundScanCompleteDate"="5/25/2008 3:05:24 AM" "BackgroundScanCompleteDate"="5/25/2008 3:06:29 AM" "CDRecordDRM"=dword:00000001 <--- 1st shot (before changes, with "Copy Protect Music" enabled) "CDRecordDRM"=dword:00000000 <--- 2nd shot (After changes, with "Copy Protect Music" disabled) To test if this is the correct key to tweak, manually edit the key value back to 1. The "Copy Protect Music" should be enabled. You can export this key for your WMP customise setting.

Noted. In fact before embark on making this addon, I have used your addon. But I notice there is no file association & no context menu for IZARC after installing. I need to manually launch the program for file assoication. Hence I explore other ways to get file association & found that Autoit could give me the solution. Regards

Homepage I made this addon thru auto it. (Install via wizard-base style) It will associate all default file association. English lng only. 4 common extensions have icon replaced to differentiate from the lesser known type when view in Window Explorer. (7z, Rar, Cab, Zip) Default to .zip in context menu when creating archive. <<Link removed, discontinued for wizard-style type. Pls use 24 oct ver>> MD5: 49076AF7B2FF74666503672DC619FB32 size: 3.81MB Uninstallable: Yes === 24 Oct: Add alternate version === Associate 3 popular archivers ; 7z, Cab & Zip with IZArc. Icons are changed for easier viewing. Add: Cab_max to context Menu (XP only) (for converting single file to compressed file eg explorer.exe to explorer.ex_ ) -source Also add Support for 16 languages: Chinese,Dutch,English, French,German,Hungarian, Indonesia,Italian,Polish, Portuguese,Romania,Russia, Spanish,Swedish,Thai, Turkish Recommendation: Install last among other archiver such as Winrar & Universal Extractor IZArc381Silent16IntlL_Addon.cab Size:3.85MB MD5:099A0570A1B121DC1B5A34EDD7F957D2 Uninstallable: Yes (Install silently via autoit) Some customise screenshots 1) Default to Cab when making archive 2) Available context menu with 3 associate format icons 3) IZArc recognise compressed format such as explorer.ex_ . Just need to "extract here" 4) Cab_max context menu for greater functionality Configuration works right out of the box.

Hi I'm 3 days old here In an effort to slipstream Xp, I got to know HFslip. and since then, I have slowly learn how to made addon using svcpack method. Recently I also started to learn Auto It language & 7z SFX to pack my files for addon. Thanks to Ricktendo64 for the 7z SFX tutorial given out. Just like to say thank you to the menbers who spare their own free time to help out less knowledgeable people like myself in slipstream XP. Hence, knowing this great site, I decided to sign up as new member to participte / post questions if in need. Thanks

Ever encounter this problem? I'm unable to determine root cause... I thought could be my DVD writer defective. So I swop with a spare CD writer (working one). No luck. Change out IDE ribbon cable. Still no luck Under Device Manager, everything ok. Can even eject thru the Windows context menu in Window Explorer. I suspect MB defective but do not know how to check. Any suggestion? As I'm Slipstreaming XP Pro thru HFslip, I'm unable to test my build.
