  1. There's no issue opening the file in Rufus. Maybe it's an issue on your system. You could try using a different computer to create the flash drive.
  2. If file size and sha1 hash match, then the file is most likely genuine. Original hashes as published by MS are here: https://www.heidoc.net/php/myvsdump_family.php?family=Office+2007
  3. Okay, I'll download the same file and will try to replicate.
  4. Find the hashes here: https://www.heidoc.net/php/myvsdump_family.php?family=Windows+10%2C+version+1903 You can calculate the hash of the downloaded file with 7-zip for example, or through power shell: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/powershell/module/microsoft.powershell.utility/get-filehash?view=powershell-7
  5. Installation of 1903 also doesn't work with a corrupt file. Please verify that your file is not corrupt.
  6. Let's make sure the file is not corrupt. You'll find the hashes as published by Microsoft here: https://www.heidoc.net/php/myvsdump_family.php?family=Windows+10%2C+version+1909 If your file has a different hash, you should download it again. If it has the same hash, we can investigate further.
  7. Have you already imported the downloaded file into Rufus? Click the "Select" button to do so.
  8. Best tool to create a bootable flash drive is Rufus. https://rufus.ie/ It's pretty much self explanatory. If you're unsure about some step, just ask here in this thread again.
  9. There are a few dozen different ISO files for Vista. Here's an overview: https://www.heidoc.net/php/myvsdump_family.php?family=Windows+Vista You can find the most common Vista images by googleing the file name or the hash (usually on dodgy sites).
  10. I think it's because of the telemetry updates in the escrow version.
  11. For a definite answer, you might want to contact Microsoft and ask them when they plan to shut down the downloads API. Everything else is speculation. (My personal speculation is that it's too late. But let's wait and see what happens on 1 February.)
  12. Correct. A few Office 2010 downloads are still available from links that were created yesterday, which will have disappeared by the end of day. But Windows 7 is already gone for the month. Depending on when exactly MS shuts down the downloads API after Windows 7 end-of-life, downloads might or might not come back on February 1.
  13. You can download the trial here: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/evalcenter/evaluate-windows-server-2019?filetype=ISO Both 2016 and 2019 trials can be converted to the full version by applying the product key through PowerShell.
  14. I'll keep an eye on whether MS makes this download option available through the API.
  15. Do you want to download Win 7 or Win 10? Win 10 is always available. If you download Home/Pro, you will get an all-in-one disc. If you want to preserve your data and applications, you must follow one of the supported upgrade paths: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/deployment/upgrade/windows-10-upgrade-paths If your desired upgrade path is not supported, you can delete the file cversion.ini from the iso image. Afterwards, all upgrade paths will be supported. To avoid installing unnecessary applications, better ask again on the Win 10 board. It might be possible to create a custom installer for Windows 10, but I don't know how.
  16. At the start of each month. You have just missed the downloads. Only a few editions can be provided for the first 6 days of each month. As for this month, all Windows 7 downloads have been used up already. Next opportunity will be on 1 January. This is most likely the last opportunity, since Windows 7 will reach its end of life.
  17. Yes, it's correct. They're all the same size. I suspect they include all the same installation files but different configuration files. (Saves MS a lot of work.)
  18. Can you let me know the service tag? There's a remote chance that I can get the image through the Dell API.
  19. There are a number of (conflicting) explanations on Google. I'm sure I also answered on the forum what I believe is the correct meaning of COEM. Only MS will know the definite answer. Use a download manager. If the error persists, wait for Dell to fix it.
  20. About 99.9% of all prurchased and legitimate Windows 7 keys won't give you any download on that page. No, just go for whatever is available. Both COEM and retail images accept both COEM and retail keys for installation and activation. The August 2018 version would also work just fine.
  21. Version 8.24 (18 November 2019): Added Office 2019 for Mac build 16.31; updated Serbian localization.
  22. Version 8.23 (12 November 2019): Added Office 2019 for Mac up to build 16.30; renamed Windows 10 October 2019 Update to November Update.
  23. Yes, November 12 here.
  24. Thanks! I got a 400 bad request error earlier today, so I assumed that MS was in the process of uploading the files. Obviously, I was mistaken. But they've been on MSDN for maybe two weeks now, so they should be available to the public soon.
