THANK YOU for the update..... QFE UpdatePack is free from errors and does work perfectly fine with Yumeyao's IE8 addon. Correct integration is required for error free results.

The pack contains KB2416400 for IE6, you are integrating an IE8 addon and MU/WU is prompting you for an IE8 hotfix. Perhaps you should direct your problem to Yumeyao if there is a problem with his addon? My personal IE8 addon (private build not public) works fine. KB2416400 requires some reg entries to be written during setup that perhaps are not being written by the IE8 addon hence prompting WU/MU to nag about the hotfix.
