Hi, since around 1.5 half years i am integrating Updates into our Windows Image at our Company. However i have noticed that even when all the latest Updates are integrated after installing the OS it shows a few ".NET Framework" Updates that couldn't be integrated (see Attachment). A year ago it were only around 10, now around 15. So its getting more and more, it hinders the usfulness of the Slipstreaming process a bit. Did anyone of you find a way to integrate this pesky ".NET" Updates into the Image? Thanks for the help.

...since the home server(?) at http://testing.wintoolkit.co.uk/ is down, or acting weird, quite often. And it again. And it appears that no one else mirrors your 0.56MB application anywhere, ever. Currently, all your links are broken, and I've been hunting all over the internet for the last three hours for a way to find it. In fact, this is a big enough issue that the fourth of four Google results for "2.0.5860.25216.7z" is a pretty damn convincing, and extremely nasty malware trap: http://solari.victus-rpg.com/showthread.php?tid=84314 . I just spent the last 45 minutes wrestling control of my computer back from that beast. The only other v2.x one can find on the internet is at http://www.datafilehost.com/d/2b73ce8b, which was uploaded in another wincert.net thread a few months back when a similar thing was happening, but it is the older 2.0.5651.42757, which no longer runs due to a built-in expiration date. So, yeah. A mirror would be good; and in the mean time, anyone have a copy of 2.0.5860.25216.7z laying around? Thanks, your friend, Geoff (or, I guess, "f483755" today) Sunday 17th January 2011 2:18pm

Hey there, I've just registered, because I haven't found an answer to the following question: If I integrate updates to an install.wim. with WinToolkit, do I really have to do it for all images "separately" ? Or can I only integrate them to the "Ultimate" image? I mean, the files that are used by the setup from the install.wim are the same for every version (home, home prem, usw...) aren't they? BTW: It's really an awesome tool! THX & Greetings Psy-Virus

Hello guys, Do you know if I import a registry file through Tweaks if this is going to be added to all users? I'm building a Windows 7 SP1 Customized Image. I know for sure if I do it manually through the WIM Reg editor that its possible. If this was possible through the Tweaks section at AIO Integrator, instead of doing my tweaks everytime through the WIM Reg Editor I would just need load my tweaks preset. The code that I want to add: Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00; Add Network Connections to Network context menu[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\CLSID\{F02C1A0D-BE21-4350-88B0-7367FC96EF3C}\shell][HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\CLSID\{F02C1A0D-BE21-4350-88B0-7367FC96EF3C}\shell\Network Connections]@="@%SystemRoot%\\system32\\netshell.dll,-1200"[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\CLSID\{F02C1A0D-BE21-4350-88B0-7367FC96EF3C}\shell\Network Connections\command]@="rundll32.exe shell32.dll,Control_RunDLL ncpa.cpl,,0"Thanks in advance.

Hi Lego, I set the priority of dism & external apps high, as shown in the screenshot. But after start applying in the aio integrator, I just checked the priority of dism. Its normal! wintoolkit ver 1.5.3.9; dism (system) version 6.1.7600.16385; dism (installed) version: 6.3.9600.16384 Please fix. I found out one more thing: for mount and unmount, wintoolkit doesn't use dism. It uses ImageX. So why is it written that the process that require dism is mount & unmount (as shown in below screenshot)? Till now in any version (from 1.4, I started using wintoolkit from version 1.4.x.x), I haven't seen usage of dism in the mount & unmount. I have seen that its used by wintoolkit for integration (servicing). Thank you. Screenshots:

Hi Lego, After I integrated things using the AIO integrator (wintoolkit v1.5.3.9), it asked me an unmount confirmation dialog. 'Save & rebuild' was disabled, so I clicked on 'Save'.And, after some time, it stopped responding!; i waited for about 20mins & still the same. So I decided to forcefully close it. The wim was of win8.1 enterprise x64 (with update) After that, the strange thing: I opened WIM Manager, and I saw the same wim mounted, and was 10.xxGB. I just opened the mount location, and after 4-5mins, the mount disappeared, and there was only 2 folders: Windows>System32, and the system32 folder was empty. !!! I again checked the wim manager, and the mounted wim was still present! The arc now showing was x86 7 image name corrupted, build 0.0.0.0. !!! So, is my wim corrupted! Should I integrate again! All the logs & not responding screenshot is given as attachments. :confused02: Thanks Logs.7z Not Responding Image:

Is it possible to integrate DirectX June 2010 SDK (https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=8109) via WinToolkit in a Windows 7 image? The integrated DirectX 11 in Windows 7 is not enough for some programs and games. They will ask for older DirectX files (like d3dx10_43.dll is missing). I'm currently do a separate silent installation, but I like integration more. START /WAIT "Extract DirectX June 2010 SDK" "directx_Jun2010_redist.exe" /C /T:%TEMP% /QSTART /WAIT "Installing DirectX June 2010 SDK" "%TEMP%\DXSETUP.exe" /silent

Hey guys, I've recently downloaded WTK, and started using it, and it's absolutely fantastic. I have one question though: On our network we have an procedure that all fresh installs must go through that I currently have automated (It's not my dcision that this gets done.) However, you have to be connected to the network for it to succeed, which is wireless. Is there any way i can have my WTK installation automatically join a wireless network (that I can provide the key and password to) so that when it's finished I can automatically set up our network? It would only save about 15 minutes of my time, but it's my last gripe with our reimaging process. Cheers

First of all, let me say that I realy like working with WinToolkit and appreciate all the hard work that LegoLash20 has put in this this awsome program....Not to mention the pro-active members in the forum. I am pretty much confortable with my knowledge with most aspects of W7T. However, I am totally baffled on the subject of Update Intergration. I have taken a look at the update catalog, but I have not idea how to sort out what updates I need. The only thing I've been able to decern is that they are all Post windows 7 SP1 updates. I have no clue which ones superceed others or which ones are critical, important, etc. I have spend a number of hours today going thru the forums here, and over at RyanVM's to find some decent documentation that would help me to undertand the complex mechanics of windows updates in relation to W7T. The only thing that came close to reasonable is a tutorial that i found here... http://www.ryanvm.ne...opic.php?t=9024 This tutorial was working out for me till i reached the first step -- downloading SoLorS updates which were all nicely rolled up and ready to go, at least so it seemed. The links are now dead and the tutorial hasn't been updated with anything new, Proceeding to the next available source for getting the update pack only confused me even more. ... KUC, etc... I would realy like to intergrate Win7 hotfixes into my media without having to resort to using multiple tools. Can anyone with a solid foundation in the mechanics of W7 updates and W7T point me to a tut or doc that can explain how to sort out and identify the updates and tell me the basics of do's and dont's with respect to intergrating 'this update' with 'that update' and and so on. Much appreciated and thanks in advance.

I have run into problem : On my w7 x64 ultimate "Open CMD Here" folder shell-extension fails to recognize system32 folder (used for 64 bit console programs). I have integrated 64-bit version of nircmd (by NirSoft). When starting cmd from start menu > run, it finds nircmd.exe, but when starting from shell-extension, it fails. One that works, shows in title "Administrator : Command Prompt"and one that fails has in it's title "Administrator: C:\Windows\system32\cmd.exe"1. If this si a bug, please correct it in WinToolkit update 2. how can i fix this issue on currently installed modded windows ? It's kind of funny that command prompt started from 64-bit folder fails to find other 64-bit commands/utilities :g:

Folks: Regretfully, I tried to d/l just the latest 100 or so updates from McRip's and I wound getting the entire x64 collection: over 350 MSUs ! Frankly, that's useless bec the final ISO probably won't even fit on a DVD DL, even if the resulting WIM actually worked. I found this link, which explains how to use KUC to determine which updates will work w/ a given image. What I really want is something that will list the essential updates, as I'm entirely sure that all of those updates aren't essential for a baseline Windows 7. I've installed from a more-or-less virgin Win7 SP1 and it never tries to do more than 100 or so updates. I've had a lot of trouble recently w/ my x64 build, so I don't even have working, recent x64 image, except (of course) my original Windows 7 SP1 distribution ISO. Any suggestions ? Maybe a simple text list I can use to drive a script to filter out unnec updates ? TIA...

1st let me say what an excellent tool WinToolkit is. Have been using it successfully for a month or two now, since at least rev .13. I'm currently using rev .22 and have encountered a problem with my x64 disc. I'm always starting from an unmodified MSOFT SP1 ISO and have perfected a set of (tested) presets called StdPresets-x86-r2.ini. Essentially I'm integrating [DPS] mass storage drivers, a bunch of Windows Updates (been using WSUSOffline for years), IE9 (d/l'd from WinCert's repo), and the dot .Net 4.5 addin (also from WinCert.) updates. I slipstream my INSTALL.WIM, gen a new ISO, test the x86 image in a VMWare VM and I'm a happy camper ! Now I load the same presets, remove x86 drivers and updates, replacing them with the corresponding x64 drivers and updates, which becomes StdPresets-x64-r2.ini and apply them to my x64 SP1 ISO. I slipstream the INSTALL.WIM, gen a new ISO, but unfortunately I don't have a x64 CPU w/ VT, so I have to wait until I go someplace where I can do some testing, only to discover that the Windows setup fails in the 2nd phase of installation ! The precise symtom is that the WinToolkit installer is launched about mid-point thru the 2nd phase of Windows setup. After which Windows setup complains about an error in the installation and that's all she wrote. Subsequent reboots only reveal that Windows setup can't get pass the detected error and I should reboot, which never clears the error. Normally (at least under the successful x86 setups), the WinToolkit Installer isn't invoked til the very end of the final (third) phase of Windows setup. I've seen this failure while working on my x86 ISO, but haven't a clue of how I got past it. Probably I started from scratch w/ the presets. IAC, I've attached the preset that's giving me trouble, in case a kind soul has encountered this failure and can diagnose the failure. Meantime, I will continue to resolve my own problems by recreating the x64 completely from scratch. Thanx in advance for any feedback. :--- MR ---: Std.Presets-x64-r2.ini

Hi guys, i've used wintoolkit to slim down a windows 8 image with succes but i noticed a strange behavior: If i chose to delete natural language (in all in one integrator section) everything works ok, but in a second moment when i try to integrate the update: Windows8-RT-KB2769165-x64 manually with this dism command: Dism.exe /image:WIN8 /Add-Package /PackagePath:updates i receive an error and the update can't be applied. if i don't delete natural language, applying the same update success. So, the problem is in the natural language component remover. did someone had the same problem? any tips on how to solve the problem? thanks
