Just in case you didn't see the message, Win Toolkit now required .NET Framework 3.5. It comes built-in to Windows 7 and 8. It is now required because i needed to fix a bug when Update Catalog was comparing dates.

If i stayed with .NET 2.0 i would have had to code A LOT in order to have the same affect whilst in 3.5 is only took one line. The only way i could possible go back to 2.0 is if McRip knows how to make his files dates on his server show in UTC time instead of UTC +1 (W. Europe / Berlin).

McRip: Use 'gmdate' instead of 'date' in php code.

Windows 7 comes with .NET 3.5 and would cause hassle for Windowa 7 users too if I went to 4.5. Besides I don't see any advantages.

Maybe we should wait for Microsoft.Windows 12

I don't use php code for this.

I use .htaccess only

Lego,

I'm suffering from a W7 x64 without .Net 3.5. I cannot install it from the standalone package, since this should be done via the Turn Windows features On/Off, which is blank in my case. Any chance that the date-determination feature you use could optionally be derived from .Net 4.0 (which I could install stand-alone)? Currently the Update catalog keeps offering the same updates again and again....

Nope. W7 x64 Pro. It is a bit messed up, but it functions OK most of the time. Since it is @work, I'm reluctant to do a full reinstall as you might understand.
