Legolash2o Posted August 8, 2012 Posted August 8, 2012 Just in case you didn't see the message, Win Toolkit now required .NET Framework 3.5. It comes built-in to Windows 7 and 8. It is now required because i needed to fix a bug when Update Catalog was comparing dates. If i stayed with .NET 2.0 i would have had to code A LOT in order to have the same affect whilst in 3.5 is only took one line. The only way i could possible go back to 2.0 is if McRip knows how to make his files dates on his server show in UTC time instead of UTC +1 (W. Europe / Berlin).McRip: Use 'gmdate' instead of 'date' in php code. Quote
ricktendo Posted August 8, 2012 Posted August 8, 2012 Why not make the jump to .net 4.5 when it becomes final? Quote
Legolash2o Posted August 8, 2012 Author Posted August 8, 2012 Windows 7 comes with .NET 3.5 and would cause hassle for Windowa 7 users too if I went to 4.5. Besides I don't see any advantages. Quote

McRip Posted August 11, 2012 Posted August 11, 2012 McRip: Use 'gmdate' instead of 'date' in php code.I don't use php code for this.I use .htaccess only Options Indexes FollowSymLinks IndexOptions +FancyIndexing IndexOptions +VersionSort IndexOptions +HTMLTable IndexOptions +FoldersFirst IndexOptions +IconsAreLinks IndexOptions +IgnoreCase IndexOptions +SuppressDescription IndexOptions +SuppressHTMLPreamble IndexOptions +XHTML IndexOptions +IconWidth=32 IndexOptions +IconHeight=32 IndexOptions +NameWidth=* Quote
Legolash2o Posted August 11, 2012 Author Posted August 11, 2012 It's fine anyway, don't worry about it Quote
Eric666 Posted August 13, 2012 Posted August 13, 2012 Lego,I'm suffering from a W7 x64 without .Net 3.5. I cannot install it from the standalone package, since this should be done via the Turn Windows features On/Off, which is blank in my case. Any chance that the date-determination feature you use could optionally be derived from .Net 4.0 (which I could install stand-alone)? Currently the Update catalog keeps offering the same updates again and again....Regards, Eric666 Quote
Legolash2o Posted August 13, 2012 Author Posted August 13, 2012 What windows are you using? Windows 8? Quote
Eric666 Posted August 13, 2012 Posted August 13, 2012 Nope. W7 x64 Pro. It is a bit messed up, but it functions OK most of the time. Since it is @work, I'm reluctant to do a full reinstall as you might understand.Regards, Eric666 Quote
