Error message after the first reboot of the windows installer

Integrate 'HDC' Drivers (boot.wim)

Integrate 'SCSIADAPTER' Drivers (boot.wim)

Integrate 'SYSTEM' Drivers (boot.wim)

Integrate 'USB' Drivers (boot.wim)

Yes I´m a german so this is of course easier

1) I wanted to have all updates integrated ..I didn´texpect that it would be so tricky...

Had the same idea with update packages but I didn´t know dr. windows before so I choose

WinFuture_7SP1_x64_UpdatePack_2.15_Juli_2012-Vollversion.exe

I have to integrate the update pack as a silent install or? and I informed me about the 2 windows updates

2) Do you mean the oem0.inf?

I wanted to create a usb stick within some programs and updates + changed services and tweaks

In the time of Win2k and Windows XP I also created extensive Unattented CD's . Under Vista or Win7 not yet ... must be possible for me to create this

Last .iso I created was untouched with the exception of one driver

I have added a driver with the same result I get the same error

Create again one .iso where I changed just one tweak..nothing else

Integrate 'HDC' Drivers (boot.wim)

Integrate 'SCSIADAPTER' Drivers (boot.wim)

Integrate 'SYSTEM' Drivers (boot.wim)

Integrate 'USB' Drivers (boot.wim)

and "rebuild image"

I did uncheck to test it

Legolash was also able to create a version within all tweaks or services..strangely

#update

also with just one tweak it didn´t work..um..well..

If you want I can give you my preset-file, no problem.

Thanks for the tender I would accept this :)

Sorry for writing just german..didn´t sleep much ^^

Sounds like you're doing something basic wrong. Can you try the absolute minimum changes possible from the straight-from-MS-ISO and see if you can bet any build at all to work? Ideally, you should list EXACTLY what you do, even better would be a screen capture video.

Cheers and Regards

My intention too at the beginning with WinToolkit and Win7, but I did leave this idea because there is a lot of thing I don't need and I didn't exactly what I have to do...

With WinFuture Update Pack I had some problems.

I have to integrate the update pack as a silent install or? and I informed me about the 2 windows updates

No, I extract it and eliminate a couple of patches, that not make sense to integrate and let WTK integrate the single patches.

2) meinst du in der oem0.inf?

2) Do you mean the oem0.inf?

No, those in your post #6; oem0.inf and oem1.inf are being added by WinToolkit during integration.

I wanted to create a usb stick within some programs and updates + changed services and tweaks

Me too, but adapted to my HW and necessity.

In the time of Win2k and Windows XP I also created extensive Unattented CD's .

Ich auch.

Me too.

AMD).

I don't know which grafik card you have, but be careful: WinToolkit can't handle compressed driver such AMD.

And last but not least:

I use ALWAYS a new ISO (without ei.cfg) for my tests and do not install in a VM to test, I install on an external eSATA HD with AutoUnattend.xml.

If you have questions on single topics in my .INI, feel free to ask.

Regards

P.S.: Wofür verwendest du Daemon Tools Lite? Zum ISO-Mounten? m.E. ist VirtualCloneDrive besser.

What are you using DaemonTools Lite for? To Mount ISO? My opinion: VirtualCloneDrive is better.

Yes it seems like I do something basicly wrong..I made another version..with the Win 7 prof 64bit Media Refresh.iso and just black vipers tweaked services .. I also made a couple of screenshots

um, well..it work´s :D .. what I did different was I removed the ei.cfg + I didn´t created a .iso file .. just copied the files to the USB stick manually

Now I´ll integrate drivers and silents hope it works.. ^^

No, I extract it and eliminate a couple of patches, that not make sense to integrate and let WTK integrate the single patches.

Ok done

Me too, but adapted to my HW and necessity.

I inegrated now all drivers but my wlan wasn´t found on my laptop even I installed them..

Is there a way to see what´s actually installed inside the install.wim? Drivers, updates silent installer etc.. to be sure everything went fine

I don't know which grafik card you have, but be careful: WinToolkit can't handle compressed driver such AMD.

I have a Nvidia..good to know ^^

I use ALWAYS a new ISO (without ei.cfg) for my tests and do not install in a VM to test, I install on an external eSATA HD with AutoUnattend.xml.

I used before also a new ISO..I removed now ei.cfg and installed it on my laptop because I don´t have an external HDD..I created a AutoUnattend.xml

What are you using DaemonTools Lite for? To Mount ISO? My opinion: VirtualCloneDrive is better.

Yes I used it for mounting..I´ll check VirtualCloneDrive :)

Now everything is integrated but the silent installers aren´t installed after the installation of windows even wlan on the laptop isn´t found and when I look for the installed windows updates I don´t see them..

The unattended I created does work

Is there a way to see what´s integrated in the install.wim? Drivers updates silents etc..

I forgot..the Installation did stuck at the point :

das festlegen der einstellungen wird abgeschlossen

windows is finalizing your settings

So I just restarted the laptop and later also my computer and windows finished the installation

maybe that´s the reason for the missing drivers updates and silent installs

My way is to call windows-update; if there is nothing to do...

The windows update? I meant how I´m able to see what´s integrated in the /source/install.wim :)

after the integration with AIO integrator I see it in the TAB "integrated" but when I add something new to the AIO integrator I don´t see my old changes...like added drivers changed services and tweaks as also my silent installs.. when I used RT7lite I was able to see what was changed on the disk

My questions and doubt from Post #23 are the same!

I think you try to integrate too much at the same time and for HW you can't have in a single computer!

Please, attach such long files not as "code" but as file, it's better to scroll and read.

Tnx.

Yeah I have to make it smaller..It was easier to use all files ^^

Yes your right I´ve forgot to upload them

The problem now is the folder C:\WinToolkit\Mount is still there after integration and not deleteable..I tried to unmount with DISM command but DISM do not find any mounts

The error began when Win toolkit crashed..

tried Lockhunter and Unlocker to delete the directory..Lockhunter didn´t do the job and unlocker does not start

Posted

The Mount-Folder will be automatically deleted by exiting WinToolkit.

If WinToolkit crashes a corrupted image remains in the mount-folder: you must unmount/discard the corrupted image.

Thiersee

Posted (edited)

It was there after exiting..so decided to umnount/discard the image because of another crash it didn´t work to discard..after that the folder was still there but wintoolkit didn´t recognize the mount

I used now another directory for wintoolkit to prefent the error of the .txt hopefully.. but I still have the problem how to delete ^^

The solution didn´t work really ;)

Tryed also to dismount via the dism.exe but it didn´t work..got some errors etc..

So I re-installed windows and made a single partition for wintoolkit the iso and mount files..

I don´t get any of the errors now..everything went fine..the mount folder is away as it should be

Test now windows on an external drive

Thanks for all the help so far :))

I know now how the error message came from "windows setup could not configure windows to run on this computer's hardware"

I forgot to write that I used Yumi for my USB http://www.pendrivel...ot-usb-creator/

Known Issues:

* When installing Windows 8, 7, or Vista from USB, you must unplug the USB device before the first restart, otherwise you will receive an error stating:

"windows setup could not configure windows to run on this computer's hardware"

The solution is to unplug the USB before the first reboot (when Windows count down the restart I did unplug it)

You can replug the USB when there´s the message Installation will be finished

http://www.abload.de...llatioamurn.jpg

Then the silent installers will finish correctly

But this solution I don´t like really because I want an unattended installation..

Does anyone have a idea how to solve it else? :g:

It seems like when windows is detecting the grub loader the message comes becuase that´s the only difference for my opinion..Yumi just copies the installation files to the usb..same directorys :g:

I thought about using another bootloader..is it possible to create a multiboot USB with the windows bootloader? or is the windows bootloader able to boot .iso files?

I use this tool (sorry, the description is only in german, but the tool is in english too ;) ) to make a multiboot USB and it works without any "unplug"; here is another description (sorry, only in german) for a previous version of the same tool.

The only thing you have to do is to set the HDD at the first place and the multiboot-USB at the second in the boot-sequence; on starting install you must choose USB in the boot-menu.

I think I´ll get the other ones booting too..just need some time ;)

Now everything except trinity rescue disc is working..

I solved it by creating another partition on the USB stick

Extracted the whole .ISO on the partition

and boot it with this grub4dos entry

title Trinity Rescue Disc \Mapped and Booted from Partition sdb2
map (hd0,1)+1 (fd0)
map --hook
root (fd0)
chainloader +1
boot

Maybe someone have a tough time with it like me and this helps him ;)

Thanks again Thiersee for the tip with WinSetupFromUSB

I installed windows now and everything worked fine as I wanted

:dancing:

Edit 1:

I renamed the stick to TRK_3-4 I forgot (what didn´t work on the first partition)
