Hi i cant get #Silent Installs runonce from Wintoolkit to work when i test it on a pc. but it works in WMware. anyone know why?

does AIO make a log file after windows er installed. or what file does AIO use to install windows7. like updates and gadgets, wallpaper ect. get installed. AIO makes my preset file. but where on the windows image is the file. that is uses i hope it makes sence

It does make a log in C:\Windows\System32\WinToolkit_RunOnceLog.txt

Did you install from USB/DVD and then remove the device before first login?

Well after lot of testing silent installers dont work:

1) When you use usb/dvd and remove after restart

2) Install system from other system( e.g. Install Windows 8 from WIndows 7 )

Maybe if you can add possibility to browse to find Apps folder.

You need to keep the disc/usb in until you see the "desktop and its icons" or else they wont install

The easy way to handle this is to not change the boot sequence in the first place, at least not permanently in the BIOS. Usually, at initial machine start up, there is a Fkey option to access boot options. You can then select your USB/CD/DVD to boot from on a "one time only" basis. Then when the machine reboots, after copying all the files it needs to the new C drive, it will boot to the C drive automatically and continue the installation. You then leave your USB/CD/DVD in place until after the install completes and gets to the desktop. That way any files needed for installing apps etc will be available.
