SsurferR Posted August 31, 2012 Posted August 31, 2012 (edited) I noticed that wintollkit mounts windows in "WinToolKit" folder under "mount" subfolder.My question is can i replace the files explorer.exe and the 5 patched theme files there before it finished all processes?If its possible, how do i get access to replace these files? since the system says i can't because its locked.Or there is another simpler way for that?The files i want to replace are.Patched explorer.exe with a new start menu orb.Patched themeservice.dll, uxtheme.dll and themeui.dll.so when i start windows after the instalation it already has my theme up and running.
