Exactly the same happens. WMP itself is preserved, but all shortcuts referring to it are gone.

They are completely missing...all other Shortcuts are in place only WMP ones are gone.

If that tweak isnt used, also WMP icons are where they should be.

If it cannot be fixed, maybe you could create "workaround" so Shortcuts are actually re-created? :g:

no ideas, if i new exactly what unregmp2 /SwapTo:64 does then yeah i could probably fix it. If i follow the instructions from a website for the tweak, it doesn't even work (Win8) and still uses 32bit mode :/

I will probably have to remove the tweak.

I could provide you info how to create shortcut to desktop for it, via reg key...

Unfortunately it doesnt help for star menu and taskbar, as WMP doesnt have separate registry keys for those. :(

EDIT: If you decide to remove it, then ist fine...

so far it creates a feeling like it completely removed it, for novice users.

Add this into that tweak to get at Desktop icon for WMP.

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\MediaPlayer\Setup\UserOptions]
"DesktopShortcut"="yes"

Is it only me, or this tweak got removed from 1.5.x.x versions... :g:

If it so, maybe Legolash2o can PM me how it exactly was enabled on older versions, so I could Include my "own tweak" when building image?

Actually I always used it, because then only one set of codecs were needed.
