click-click Posted May 10, 2014 Posted May 10, 2014 Does 4.5.2 supersede the .NET 4.5.1 KBs 2898869 and 2901126? I uninstalled 4.5.1 and then installed 4.5.2 via the Ms standalone installer and noticed the reg entries for the above KBs are still present. Quote
ricktendo Posted May 10, 2014 Author Posted May 10, 2014 4.5.2 is simply 4.5.1 with those and other hotfixes, yes its superseded Quote

ccl0 Posted July 1, 2014 Posted July 1, 2014 (edited) is there a way to spoof microsoft update into thinking the language packs are already present? reason why i'm asking is b/c i used .net slim and later when i ran windows update it said i needed to download .net 4.5.1 kb2858725. i looked online and i think that has something to do with language packs? ricktendo Posted July 2, 2014 Author Posted July 2, 2014 You can use this vbs to hide it, hide it manually or install a slim lp Quote
