Can anybody explain why all mention of .NET 4.5.3 has vanished from the internet aside from here? Not only from MS but also other sites like Wikipedia? Is this version still considered a beta and/or RC? Does this version get updated or will need a reinstall if it's not RTM?

Thanks.

Cant install it on a brand new windows 8.1, it says that net framework is already installed. Its probably the version 4 but I want to overwrite it with the latest version and hotfixes. How can I do it?

Rick,

For some reason, I cannot download a complete copy of any of the .NET Slim repacks.  It starts downloading but stops at some random point but never downloads the full 46.5 MB.  I don't have that problem with any other software or downloads.  Also, it isn't dependent on where I try to download it from.  Any ideas?  Is it available somewhere else such as a file sharing site?

dotNetFx453_Full_LDR_x86_x64_Slim.exe I download from ricktendo.info ,MD5 is EF3D359B8655949A27E8C58E3238FAE2 ,is it right ?

I can't open mediafire.com

Thank you for the update

I used your tools to rename "Net Framework 4.5.2" (without the Rollup) once had finished handling the version of the setup has changed
For me it's 4.5.52213.36213 and your version of setup 4.5.52264.36264

It's normal?

Thanks :)

Getting an error on the 4.5.3 installer:  Error 1311. Source file not found.  netfx_full.mzz  I've downloaded from both places and tried on different machines.  Same error.

@Ricktendo:

Can you please Update the Slim and Full Installer for .net 4.5.2 (Final not the betas) and correct the downloadfilename ?
- it still shows 451 in the linkname ;-)
