amaltom61 Posted December 3, 2012 Posted December 3, 2012 (edited) I currently have Windows 7 Ultimate SP 1 and 425 updates installed plus some other updates.I also have .Net 4.5 installed and its 4 updates(KB2759112,KB2756203,KB2748645,KB2745582).So do i need to install the updates for .Net Framework 3.5.1 (it is showing up on the list of updates to download in the windows updates thingy) Edited December 5, 2012 by amaltom61 Quote
bphlpt Posted December 3, 2012 Posted December 3, 2012 Yes. .NET 3.5.1 is separate from .NET 4.5. .NET 4.5 replaces .NET 4.0, but not any of the other versions of .NET.Cheers and Regards Quote
mooms Posted December 3, 2012 Posted December 3, 2012 .net 3.5 is shipped with win7 (windows 6.1) so .net 3.5 updates are considered as Windows Updates. Quote
bphlpt Posted December 3, 2012 Posted December 3, 2012 I knew that, but this threw me:...(it is showing up on the list of updates to download in the windows updates thingy)I guess the question should be exactly which updates are showing up in the "windows updates thingy"?Cheers and Regards Quote
amaltom61 Posted December 4, 2012 Author Posted December 4, 2012 I have not installed any updates for .Net 3.5.1.So i need list of updates for .Net 3.5.There is only one update showing in windows update--KB2729452 Quote
