January 1, 201312 yr I've also tried removing most if not all of the green components, but after installation I couldn't boot up in the system anymore, so u need to be careful with what u select. I know for a fact that removing only the metro apps works.

January 2, 201312 yr Yes I had the same thing, Win8 isnt fully implemented yet I think. But Win7 is, I removed all of the green components and my system is slimmed down and fully operational.
