deepblue2000 Posted March 5, 2013 Posted March 5, 2013 why do I get this screen after the end of an x64 Installation: I need to click cancel or ok, then the desktop will be loaded. Same settings with x86 it is all ok. I just integrated some updates and made 5 tweaks (IE Downloads, Speedup, Show file extensions, show Computer on desktop) Quote
deepblue2000 Posted March 5, 2013 Author Posted March 5, 2013 (edited) When I mount any image: I have two files in:C:\WinToolkit_Mount\Windows\System32 WinToolkitRunOnce.exeWinToolkitRunOnce.exe.config <?xml version="1.0"?><configuration> <startup useLegacyV2RuntimeActivationPolicy="true"> <supportedRuntime version="v2.0.50727" sku="Client"/> <supportedRuntime version="v4.0" sku=".NETFramework,Version=v4.0"/> </startup> <runtime> <NetFx40_LegacySecurityPolicy enabled="true"/> </runtime></configuration> But I never choosed that option in Wintoolkit edit: when I mount the image, delete the two files and commit the changes. the screen above is gone. Legolash2o Posted March 5, 2013 Posted March 5, 2013 There should be a WinToolkit folder with logs in it. You must have used Silent Installers in previous builds. Quote
deepblue2000 Posted May 17, 2013 Author Posted May 17, 2013 (edited) so after two month I want to build a new aio dvd with all updates,But I still have the same problem from above. I have deleted all wintoolkit stuff, re downloaded latest version, but every time the same prob. What do I have to delete ? There is nothing marked in wintoolkit for "silent installer" or something like that. edit: with a clean new win7 dvd (original), I have the same problem.so is there any hidden wintoolkit folder where settings are saved ?( I have deleted all I found, and re-downloaded the latest versioN) edit2: or is the problem, that I am running Win8 ?cause, there is an option (advcanded) "Windows 8 Enable Legacy .NET Framework",that this option will automaticly turned on, when Wintoolkit runs on Win8 ? Legolash2o Posted June 5, 2013 Posted June 5, 2013 I've made some changes for v23 which will hopefully resolve this problem once and for all! Quote
wiktorynka Posted June 7, 2013 Posted June 7, 2013 (edited) WinToolkit 1.41.24 does not install any silent installers even msu update. In general, the installer does not start during system installation, without errors. Updates are integrated properly. In version 1.41.22 everything is fine. Edited June 7, 2013 by wiktorynka Quote
Legolash2o Posted June 7, 2013 Posted June 7, 2013 I will be investigating this tonight. I've been busy today working on a new feature Quote

Legolash2o Posted July 31, 2013 Posted July 31, 2013 Use the 'WIM Registry Editor' to check if there is a WIM_Software\WinToolkit or anything similar and tell me what's in it please. Quote

Thanks for your solution, I'm also running Win8. Deleting the 2 Wintoolkit files in System32 worked. Quote
