Legolash2o Posted April 21, 2013 Posted April 21, 2013 I've fixed the french exe, it the problem was the the french version has a strange space character before the 10 in Internet Explorer 10 :/ Quote
mooms Posted April 21, 2013 Author Posted April 21, 2013 Glad to hear that Lego. Do you have also fixed the second issue with the IE10 cab langpack ? Quote
Legolash2o Posted April 21, 2013 Posted April 21, 2013 Can you link me to the post mentioning that and any other posts which may be useful? This is why i don't like multiple issues posted in the same topic Quote
mooms Posted April 21, 2013 Author Posted April 21, 2013 It's the issue mentioned on first post. See post #34 for more recent test and also post #50 for a successful test on v1.4.1.16 with updates of this month. On post #28 and #42 user X-Force says it also affects Turkish IE10 LP but IE10 exe works. Quote
Legolash2o Posted April 21, 2013 Posted April 21, 2013 So the problem is because 'IE10 & KB2786081' are not pushed into the prerequisites list? Mooms, what did you do different to that they wan't in the prerequisites list. Did you import the last session? I've added a right-click option where you can move updates to and from the prerequisites list. RicaNeaga 1 Quote

Legolash2o Posted April 21, 2013 Posted April 21, 2013 Do you manually add updates and subfolders or do you use 'Add Updates + Subfolders' option? In that last test, was those two updates in the prerequisites group? Quote
mooms Posted April 21, 2013 Author Posted April 21, 2013 I use 'Add Updates + Subfolders', and yes, the two updates are in prerequisites: Quote
Legolash2o Posted April 22, 2013 Posted April 22, 2013 Hmm, strange I'm trying to figure out what made them not go into prerequisites. Quote
RicaNeaga Posted April 22, 2013 Posted April 22, 2013 The whole discussion here was about how IE10 is better integrated last, before IE10 languagepacks and others related, and NOT from the prerequisites. The working build of Win Toolkit that solves mooms problem is an older one that doesn't force IE10 into the prerequisites area. So maybe you're thinking with a wrong premise / wrong starting argument. Quote

RicaNeaga Posted June 6, 2013 Posted June 6, 2013 I've added a right-click option where you can move updates to and from the prerequisites list. Will this option be implemented soon? Or have you found a different solution for the languagepacks problem described in this thread? People are recommending earlier builds of your app for those having this issue, and I don't think you want this. Quote
mooms Posted June 6, 2013 Author Posted June 6, 2013 Tried a new build with 1.4.1.24: IE10 is still in English. Not altered the order of prerequisites (on purpose: the default setting should work).Integrated with this cab (more up-to-date than the one in IE10 exe): http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=36808 The same integration with 1.4.1.16 is working fine.
