euh do you mean exactly? if that mean just language pack does not integrate properly is yes, from log language is integrated before ie10 wich is wrong i think.

So the problem is because 'IE10 & KB2786081' are not pushed into the prerequisites list? Mooms, what did you do different to that they wan't in the prerequisites list. Did you import the last sess

VirtualBox just finished installing. IE10 menu's were in FRENCH

Question: Why does also IE - related updates / languagepacks have to go to the prerequisites?

 

If you keep insisting on having IE in the prerequisites, why not leaving (moving by default) only IE and IE10 prerequisites in that area? By not moving by default IE - related other updates / languagepacks, the problem everyone keeps talking about should be solved automatically.

I'm testing this, for some strange reason if i integrate the ie-langpack. The rest of the integration becomes useless :/

 

 

Do not try to add IE9 languages packs of a language that is not supported by the installed OS languages!

Dism will start the installation and result in Error: 0x800f0830: “The specified image is no longer serviceable.”

 

 

I'm guessing language packs have to be integrated first

I've managed to get it working, IE10 has picked up the french language pack (in options). However, the menu's are still in english. I think the packs just add support for the characters rather than make the IE GUI actually french.

 

EDIT: I had to download the french language pack for IE MSU file and then IE10 itself was in french.

I hope this will be fixed once in for all and thanks a lot Lego ;).

 

Just curiosity what was the problem ?

It is definitely fixed. I will upload a test build within the next 10 minutes. Uploaded test build.

 

Before each update gets integrated, WinToolkit checks if it is already integrated and skips if true. The code which checks for IE10 Langpacks wasn't working and always reported as true so it never got integrated.

 

Now when a language pack for IE gets integrated, it checks if they're files in C:\\Program Files\\Internet Explorer\\fr-FR. If they're files in it, it will report back true. To sum it up, the langpack never got integrated as WinToolkit thought it had already been done.

I confirm, 1.4.1.26test1 successfully integrate the French langpack.

But why 1.4.1.16 and below worked then ?

v1.4.1.16 went something like this.
For each update in list{-IntegrateUpdate-CheckIntegrationSucessful}

v1.4.1.17+

For each update in list{-if update already integrated then--skip-else--IntegrateUpdate--CheckIntegrationSucessful}

The "if update already integrated then" always returned true when it came to the IE LangPack.
