mooms
Edit: still the same on v22, see also post #7 for an other issue with IE10 French exe. Hello Lego, The French language packs for IE10 (tested x86 and x64 Win7) seems to integrate fine (green) but aren't installed. In my previous tests with WinToolkit141-15_Test15 IE10 langpack was installed correctly.Tested with clean images of Win7 SP1 French.Edit: Also works correctly with 1.4.1.16 Here is the ini for x64, but it's basically the same for x86. mooms
Hi Thiersee, Thanks for the info, I have to try.Are-you sure the two KB are not needed ? (they are security updates) Still, with v14.1.15_Test15 the LP integrate fine with the cab version of IE10 (final version).

Thiersee
As I said: IE10-Windows6.1-x64-de-de.exe on a german windows works. Edit:OK, I downloaded the x64-FRENCH-version and tried to integrate it on my german system: same error as you.Do you have a french or english OS? Already in the past was not possible to integrate IE in a language different from OS-Language; there is a thread with some posts from me about this prob, but sorry, I don't find it at the moment. Edit2: I found it! Have a look here (Post #11) Edited March 13, 2013 by Thiersee
mooms
Thanks Thiersee, but this is not the problem here, they're French Windows 7 Sp1 images (x86/x64 from MSDN) and the host is also French Windows 7 SP1 (x64).Also, an other French user, EASY51, have the same problem (see here). You've reported it's not the case with German IE10, so it seems it's a specific problem with French IE10. As I said the integration is working with "cab versions" of IE10 and WinToolkit 1.41-15_Test15, not 1.4.1.

myselfidem
It's a workaround using WinToolkit to integrate IE10! mooms
Quickly tested to add them v1.4.1.21 and IE_SUPPORT_x86_fr-FR.CAB was rejected: Exception:Doesn't seem to be a valid update file: 'F:\win7\IE10\IE10-x86\IE_SUPPORT_x86_fr-FR.CAB'Maybe it is not needed ? Also, my previous tests with 1.4.1.21 was with the same files minus hyphenation and spelling, so adding them will make IE10 in French ? If so why it is working in test 15 without the need of these additional msu ? I have to test integration results.

myselfidem
Have you tried this workaround using cab file?: http://www.wincert.net/forum/topic/11129-sipstream-ie10/#entry97313 Edited March 19, 2013 by myselfidem
RicaNeaga
Please take a look here. Make sure you have the correct five prerequisites, and you use the .cab renamed with a ''z'' in front of it, so it always will be below the 5 prerequisites in the integration queue. If this isn't the issue, then maybe installing the language pack as a silent installer will help.
mooms
For me it's not a problem with requisites or integration order. As I said the LP is working with "cab versions" of IE10 and WinToolkit 1.41-15_Test15, not 1.4.1.
RicaNeaga
komm ran some test and come out with a very interesting theory, and this is probably the source of your problem. Qoute from here: If you plan to use IE10 for a DVD, first uninstall all IE9 and IE8 packages. You can only uninstall IE8 packages, if IE9 is no longer present. So first uninstall all IE9 then all IE8 packages. There are some IE8 packages that can only be removed online. Also note: You can not remove packages with state: “Uninstall pending”. These packages normally blocked by other packages that you must remove first. KUC dynamically checks the IE10 pre-requested updates. So with each new version of KUC this updates may defer. That means that you have to install all new IE10 pre-requests before KUC will install Language Packs. You may have noticed in the Installed Updates tab (after the integration took place in AIO) that IE8 has an uninstall pending notice. So it's very likely some language packs cannot be integrated because of that uninstall due to happen process. When is that happening? Theoretically during first stage of windows installation. So as I suggested earlier, I repeat myself - try to add the language pack as a silent installer. It's very likely it will work. So it's a strong possibility that this isn't a Win Toolkit bug, but a Microsoft one. komm also pointed out that from his test the latest platform update is incompatible with VC++2010 and VC++2012. As there was also the f**kup with the driver framework that still generate blue screens on some systems (they don't get along with some especially video drivers), and also the decision to stop develop SP2 for windows 7, it's either a tactic to force people into upgrading to windows 8, or just sloppy work. Either way, hope it will work for you as a silent installer. At least we'll have an answer. Edited March 20, 2013 by RicaNeaga
mooms
That works with test15, so definitely something has changed in wintoolkit causing this bug. Ps: Already said, but I always use fresh "MSDN" images.
myselfidem
Yes, that strange because IE10 is integrated fine with WinToolkit for other languages (tested German, Italian) but not for French! Tested WinToolkit 1.4.1.15 and doesn't works for French!
RicaNeaga
IE8 is in the untouched MSDN SP1 edition. And DISM gives in AIO a message that IE8 is uninstall pending after integrating the IE10 cab. I also always use MSDN images. I was thinking for a solution for your problem, like moving the language pack to the silent installer area, I'm not looking to argue with you. But still think it's a strong possibility that this is a Microsoft problem, not a Win Toolkit one.
