Hi

 

I just created a new windows 7 setup iso (integrated drivers, updates and some addons and tweaks + unnatended with username and product key). When I used this iso on both real and virtual machines, when windows logs in for the first time, it prompts me to enter Computer name while in the text box I see a default name windows chose which is "PC". If I try to change it to anything else, I get errors about unsupported charactes.. For any name I try like "PC2"... This is very strange.. I did not setup a computers name on the unattended file.. Any ideas why is this happening?

What source (iso, DVD) have you used ?

Can you post or attach your unattended file? (xxx out your product key)

The setup was DVD for the real machine and ISO image for virtual box.

Thanks, but my built was based on X17-59465.iso (ult 64 english)...
