Posted July 19, 201311 yr Does installing DirectX Redist June 2010 (in McRipSystemfiles) to Windows 8.1 cause any error or problem? :g: I think Windows 8.1 comes with DirectX 11. July 19, 201311 yr Actually it's recommended to install the directx redistributable. And it doesn't include only directx 9 & 10 files, but directx 11 files too. Some apps (especially games) need those to be installed, they don't come with windows, or so was the case with xp / vista / 7 and 8, I don't think 8.1 will be the exception.
