cloud12077 Posted August 23, 2013 Posted August 23, 2013 Hi, just found this website and playing around with the tool. My question is how do I actually make .wa file addons. I tried following this guide: (http://www.wincert.net/forum/topic/5833-guide-creating-addons/), but I can't seem to get my programs to actually load during windows installation (using virtual box). I downloaded the 7z.wa file (http://www.wincert.net/forum/index.php/topic/7239-7-zip/) and that didn't even install during installation. Can anyone help me understand what I'm doing wrong? Here is an example .wa that I tried creating. (https://www.dropbox.com/s/n2nqknyiu1m3aio/7z.wa) Attached is an error I get when if I try loading an addon in the tool. Quote

Geej Posted August 25, 2013 Posted August 25, 2013 I downloaded the example .wa that you tried creating.I don't have problem loading your addon using WTKI loaded your 7z.wa into Addon maker tab, there was no entries in "Copy Files', "Copy Folders", Import Registry" etc, meaning you need to provide instructions to WTK how to deal with your files. Or perhaps due to the problem you are facing, these instructions are not created.WA addon copied directly to image folder via instruction listed in Tasks.txt. So don't put your 7zInstaller (7z920.exe) in the .waI would suggest you download some sample addon to familiarize it's structure/instructions.If you are adding an installer exe (like this sample), then you might try adding them as Switchless.exeAs to your screenshoot problem, I have no idea. Sorry. Quote
