[Solved] 2 "big" bugs in beta 5

Hi Lego,

two big bugs in RunOnceInstaller 1.4.1.29_beta5:

1) Installer does NOT pass any switches to .MSI-installers, no matter if they are packed in an .exe-installer (Skype and dotNET_4.5.1_slim_intl from Ricktendo, McRip's SF- and VC-Installers), some Microsoft-patches and to Cyberfox

2) The RunOnceInstaller stops with the last installer I put on "Always" in the .ini; the other I added to the queue are not installed, it's waiting for something and I must break it manually.

3) The NSIS-Error-box installing Java (McRip) is still present.

Again, with 1.4.1.27 NO issues!

Fixed issue 2.

UPDATE 2: Fixed issue 1. Also fixed an issue with exe files and McRipSF seemed to install fine.

UPDATE 2: Test 6 release. NSIS-Error-box would have happened in the old versions but it was just hidden.

~~Former versions of WTK and the beta 2. 3, 4 did not show any message about Antivirus detected (its always disabled if WTK is in use).~~

I´m happy, that you find something to laugh about.

I ran into serious problems. After some investigation i find a suspicous driver in abobe flashplayer.

A new software installed it without permission and my Antivirus blocked .exe and .dll and cannot stop realtime protection, strange to say without warning message.

Anyway, after cleanup the system i ran beta 5 and 7 without problems. Installing went fine. Thanks.

Only NSIS Error-Box is still present, but I don't know if it disappears after some time.

Apparently NSIS occurrences are to do with file corruption.

The NSIS errors may occur under one of the following conditions:
    1. Software files downloaded from the Internet are not complete.
    2. Downloaded software files have been modified from the original version.
    3. Your PC is infected with a virus.
    4. Physical media being used to install the program is damaged.
    5. Required hardware (For example, CD/DVD drive) is malfunctioning.

But:

with 1.4.1.27 it does NOT come!

Try test 8, no need to add the NCRC as it will do it automatically when McRip System Files is detected in the RunOnce.

The only difference is in that thread I switched off th silent installation to see, which installer is causing it.

Test 9 hides everything completely but I'm not sure how hidden windows deal with error messages.
