    @phaolo, Please have a look in the Installers repack section of this forum. All of these programs can be integrated in "Silent installs + SFX" section of Wintoolkit with silent switches. @TheOtherJeff

  • Hello, J'ai trouvé une solution pour éviter l'installation mensuelle de MRT (et donc de l'emploi d'un leurre). C'est à confirmer, mais il semble qu'il suffit de créer cette clé:

  • SSUs are permanent updates, Deep clean do not remove them (the 3177467 v1& v2 was exception) KB4490628 is still needed because it's SHA1-signed, and contain the infrastructure to process SHA2

New Updates:

KB3207752 (renamed IE11-KB3207752 because of WTK), replaces KB3197868; DeepCleaning uninstalls KB3164035 & KB3185911.

KB3205402, cumulative for all versions of .NET-FW; I used KB3210131 (for .NET-FW 3.5.1) & KB3205379 (for .NET-FW 4.6.2); DeepCleaning uninstalls KB3163245 & KB3188740.

VirtualBox x86, adapted working directory for Convenience RollUp: no issues & no further request by WU after install.

Is it still necessary to include kb2685811 and kb2685813 in sfc with these newly released kb's?

@Thiersee

Same results here, just add KB3108670 as superseeded update in classic VM. I'm testing x64 updated UL with KB3210131 instead of KB3205402.

@pennsylvaniaron,

I think they are still needed, since they are not removed by deep-clean. I'll make the x86 test without them and report.

Might be helpful to provide a little more detail amiright?

let me try again. I noticed that ie11 has black "x" on it...i'll do it over. thx

@pennsylvaniaron

Your .INI would be helpful too!

I integrated last week both x86 & x64, HomePremium & Professional, Italian & German: NO problems at all!

BTW: if IE11 has a black "X" means it has not been installed; KB3207752 contains updates for IE11 and it means it can NOT install the updates for IE11....

I tried it and the reg mods are not it. been using them for 2 yrs. right now I'm just trying the pre req's and the ie11 and the 3207752 (to avoid waiting for all the updates to install) and keep getting a black x on ie 11. very frustrating. is it ok to do a fast update like that or does ie11 need pre req's of its own? I also downloaded ie11 again from wud. that file hasn't changed  so this is a dilemma. do the order of the updates matter? also ie11 should go first before 3207752, correct? any other suggestions? this is what happens when I skip a month of updates. I seem to mess things up, although the method seems straight forward month after month.

Here is what happened. I do not think I included the rdp (4 optional) files when I last made an iso in October. I included them this time for December and it seems that was causing my issue with IE11 (have no idea why). I removed the 4 RDP files and everything went smoothly and according to plan. after installing the dec. iso on VM the only new update (other than MRT and defender def) was 2813347. thanks to all who responded and made the ul list possible again.

It will not go; IE11 and KB3207752 need some  KBs you exclude temporarely.

Did you use that ISO this time or a fresh untouched one?

I used a fresh untouched one. I learned my lesson with that!

on another note lego has released a new WTK v.1.5.4.8 (test build). He has been working on having the new monthly rollup automatically be inserted in the proper update position. I haven't read the changelog yet but I'm sure there are other improvements. I'm going to give it a test drive!

Hello,

Reading the changelog all Rollup updates are moved into the second round of updates as it was the case with first rollup. I haven't tested yet, but if it's the case, renaming Rollup IE11-Wixxx.msu will be useless. I'll check it at next update patch.

I tried it just 2 hours ago: importing all the updates for the Convenience Rollup methode (actual UL) KB3207759 has been moved in a section "Updates 2nd Round" after the IE11-Section.
