X-Force
Hi rhahgleuhargh, did you see this post on MDL regarding IE11?It does not come on WU, this is the article from MS: https://support.microsoft.com/de-de/kb/3072449/en-us. OK, it's an hotfix, but.... Thierseefor Windows 8.1, Windows RT 8.1, Windows Server 2012 R2, Windows 8, Windows RT, or Windows Server 2012. icare
As you said it's a hotfix... did you add it to your list ? icare

Samsunday
Great thread and list. Thanks. Could someone kindly clarify what this underlined section means from the first post? What is a 'deep clean'? "These ULs have been tested in a VM with Professional edition of Windows 7 before publication. But if you use an other edition, some KBs may be useless (ex. : KB2973351 for Home Premium) ; in this case please perform a deep clean after installation." rhahgleuhargh
@Samsunday,"deep-clean" is a feature of Windows 7 that removes superseeded updates from your instalation, saving precious Mb or Gb !Just go to "computer", right-click on your System disk, and click on "properties", and click on "disk cleaner" (I don't know the exact term in english) ; check the option "clean system files", and you're done. Thiersee
On a fresh installed W7 x86 (VirtualBox) I installed first the hidden updates, then after restart I installed the two KBs and made a deep cleaning: KB3050265 has NOT been uninstalled! The question is now: superseded or not? More: WU is still asking for KB2952664 (only 24Kb); after installing and searching: WU is asking the same! I'll do more test tomorrow! Edit: (It' already a little bit tomorrow !) I confirm what I've written Fresh installed (x86), W10-related KBs not hidden, all KBs requested by WU installed, restart, after deep cleaning KB3050265 has not been uninstalledand KB2952664 has been requested again (only 24Kb, release date 09-06-2015!; seems to be only a small component of the KB). Thiersee
Hi rhahgleuhargh, I made some more tests and (already posted on MDL too) installing only KB3065987 (KB3050265 not installed): WU asks for KB3050265;installing KB3065987 (KB3050265 installed): deep cleaning does not uninstall KB3050265!Is it superseded or not?KB2952664-v11:integrating/installing without KB2952664 at all: WU asks for both versions, -v10 (as important, release 09.09.2015) and -v11 (as optional, release 07.07.2015)! Installing both -v10 fails and WU asks again for -v10 but only with a size of 24KB.Integrating/installing with only -v11: WU asks for -v10 but with a size of 24 KB instead of 5-6 MB!It seems not to be very "clean".Tested only HomePremium x86 (VM). rhahgleuhargh
@Thiersee,On my real machine I've installed W10 required updates : after deep-clean KB3050265 is not deleted (it's not possible to uninstall it via control panel), and the 24 kb of KB2952664 is asked too.Let's wait for next update patch ! Thiersee
.......Let's wait for next update patch !It's better! In the meantime let's have some beers.....; :beerchug: BTW, I changed the W10.vbs on my own (added KB3065987); now KB2952664 is twice under "Hidden updates", once as "optional" and once as "reccomended" Edited July 8, 2015 by Thiersee
rhahgleuhargh
@Thiersee,I've added KB3065987 but deleted KB3050265 in the updated script. I'll recheck that next week !Have a good beer !
rhahgleuhargh
@Alpha_95,Quelle erreur obtiens-tu ?
