rhahgleuhargh
Thiersee
MS has released another update after patch-day, KB3192665, this time for IE11; not (yet?) in WU. @Thiersee I saw that but it's not yet available in WU. Since next Update patch is in 2 weeks, I won't update ULs until it (next cumulative IE update will certainly superseed it) ! mooms
pennsylvaniaron
rhahgleuhargh will you be updating the instructions as we go along this process or will October bring about such a huge change that you will wait till that occurs? regards... rhahgleuhargh
@pennsylvaniaron Which instructions would you like to be updated ? About KB3177467 ? It just needs to be integrated in RunOnce updates (some people reported problems when they tried to integrate it offline, some other succeded but until you have rebooted your system you can't integrate any update after it, so it seems to be better to put it in silent install + SFX category of Wintoolkit). I've marked this update as RunOnce in the UL, so you just have to deal with it like you do with other RunOnce updates (KB3046269). But indeed, in this case you have to do the operation manually (right-click on KB3177467 and select "move to silent install") until Wintoolkit will be updated (I'm not sure if it will). I suggest you when you select your updates to integrate : - make a first step with all updates except the "5-" ones, - move KB3020369 and KB2670838 in the Prerequisites category, - select the "5-" ones : check KB3046269 and KB2603229 (for x64) for Wintoolkit installer, and then move KB3177467 in Silent install + SFX integration category (it should be the last one of the list). I'll update the tutorial, probably at next update patch. Edited October 3, 2016 by rhahgleuhargh Typo error on KB number

pennsylvaniaron
rhahgleuhargh I did as you said using the 9_20_16 UL's and made a successful classic iso. There were 8 new updates to be installed after new install on VM. I also made a successful Convenience _x64 iso which also passes SFC! (first time for me). The convenience has 7 updates (I do not include MRT and defender in my count to you). For whatever reason (I did not write them down but can look in the installed updates if need be) the convenience had 2 updates for NFW v.3.51 (security updates) and the classic did not. Although the Convenience iso is smaller it still will not fit on a dvd+r. I have to use dvd +r DL disks. No big thing they are very cheap now. I do not USB sticks. Thank you once again. regards... Thiersee
You should hide the two NFW-Updates, using the Rollup.exe, otherwise they will be requested every time; it's another (small) bug with the convenience_Rollup-Mode. Regards, Thiersee Thiersee thx. I never used the convenience before because I wasn't crazy about it failing SFC even though it wasn't harmful so it's been awhile. I'll have to go over my notes or look back at prior posts on the rollup and w10.exe files. I think I remember after DL the file you execute the proper CMD file but I don't remember how to edit and hide things before executing the cmd. I'll figure it out. I'm happy I've made this much progress.... regards...
rhahgleuhargh
@pennsylvaniaron SFC errors using Convenience Rollup Pack have been solved with KB3188988. You can now use safely this method for your integrations.

Thiersee
Hi, tested on VM (fresh-installed with UL 20-09), without issues. DeepClean uninstalled KB3175024 & KB3178034. BTW, IE11 has been updated to version 11.0.36 (KB3191492). @X-Force KB3142042 is only for the Classic-Installation.
