But there is a small difference. The edges of windows is black in VM, but they are White in real machine. (This may not be a bug. The edges can be White than the real machine install)

That is most like due to the differences in the video capabilities between the vm and real machine.

When I tested with built 4 on VM and chose all other “Windows Line 8.1” themes manually, the edges were still black. There was no problem with the original themes of Windows.

I haven’t got a chance to test it on a real machine yet. I’ll try it today. So i am not sure whether having edges black on VM is a real problem. :g:

If it is, i think 50% of the problem should be because of virtual box...

It won't work. It doesn't copy the Windows 8 Lines theme folder to the mount path.

At university at the moment whilst my computer is resizing a partition so it should be done later on today

Can the problem emerge when unpacking and copying nsis theme package?

By the way i got the backup of my real computer. If you want, u can use teamviewer and fix the problem tonight.

Hi Liam

If I don't tick Allow 3rd Party Themes, why after installing fresh copy of windows 7 ultimate x64 still get CLASSIC theme like XP mode and not AERO !?

Besides i force it in tweaks still come basic theme without AERO ! Is there any trick to escape from this issue ?

* As a side note, I've discovered something strange; If my system was patched for third party themes, automatic the windows release entered in wintoolkit it's altered (patched) and I don't know why this affects my build since I don't select allow 3rd party themes ?!

If my system hasn't patched already , the build works fine , (aero theme is set and work) ! very strange !

Ease of Access Themes was to blame ! I've erased them but it's not indicated ! lol

Simple fact is my 3rd party theme just don't want to be applied !

Have you tried using a third party tool to see if they say the files are already patched? Hope that makes sense.

Did you say the files get patched even when you don't select the tweak?

Yes, I've checked, and wasn't any patch applied ! like I said up-there, some files needed (basic.theme and clasic.theme)!

That's why i use a service to handle 3rd-party/custom themes - rather than patching the files. ;D
