NewOne Posted May 6, 2014 Posted May 6, 2014 (edited) Hello, i would like to know whe WinToolkit always created this files in install.wim And boot.wim in the system32 folder ? I use ONLY the WimManager and after unmounting this 2 files are created. Is it possible to change that, so that WInToolkit wount create it if WimManager is used? Because i dont need those files and i always need to delete them afterwards. So far, KrX Edited May 6, 2014 by KrX Quote
Legolash2o Posted May 7, 2014 Posted May 7, 2014 I can add an option to disable adding but it has some useful features and doesn't affect the install if not used at all. It's used so you add driver folders to the dvd root, etc... or install programs after startup. Quote
NewOne Posted May 7, 2014 Author Posted May 7, 2014 yeah i know but i personally use only the wim registry editor and wim manager, so i dont need those 2 files it would be really great if you could add an option to not put them in the .wim files Thanks ;=) Quote
Legolash2o Posted May 23, 2014 Posted May 23, 2014 Check the main 'Options' within the latest version Quote
kirk Posted May 25, 2014 Posted May 25, 2014 Using wim manager by default these file should not be created at all, just my opinion. NewOne 1 Quote

Etz Posted August 21, 2014 Posted August 21, 2014 Well... Selling someone elses work under your name is immorral and also copyright infrigement... Quote
ugi Posted August 21, 2014 Posted August 21, 2014 (edited) yes, I am here to do his business license.but it mean if i edit a picture with Photoshop software, adobe company will make a logo to each picture edited by Photoshop for copyright?!! are u joking Etz?OK,just let he come and talk about hes software.if he don't like,i cancel it and try to make it by vlite or other software. Kelsenellenelvian Posted August 21, 2014 Posted August 21, 2014 vLite and nLite have a very strict no business corporate use license.I have suggested he go by this policy too for this very reason. You're simply trying to steal lego's hard work and sell it as your own. Copyright doesn't refer to just pictures. It also refers to the intellectual property of Wintoolkit and the wintoolkit runonce program. Laziness is not an excuse for deception and blatent thievery of someone elses work. Quote
Kelsenellenelvian Posted August 21, 2014 Posted August 21, 2014 Also if you are selling Windows iso's with customization and other apps included you are in extreme violation of forum rule #11. This is not a warez site! Links or Requests to warez and/or illegal material (porn, cracks, serials, braindumps, etc..) will not be tolerated. Discussion of circumventing WGA/activation/timebombs/keygens or any other illegal activity will also not be tolerated. Advertising is strongly forbidden here. If you ignore any of the aforementioned you will be banned without previous notice.Forum rules = http://www.wincert.net/forum/topic/2-wincertnet-forum-rules/ Redistribution of windows iso's without permission of Microsoft is against the law in most countries and WinCert has to follow these laws by not assisting with or allow it to be discussed. Otherwise wincert can loose it's servers and ad driven revenue. Plus from looking at your example picture some of that software is not redistribute-able without the permission of the parent company. I dont joke, but if you edit someone elses picture and sell it as yours, then it is copyright violation. And please remember MS doesnt sell you operating system, he is only selling you right to use it. http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/legal/intellectualproperty/UseTerms/default.aspx And trying to use someone elses creation and hard work to stamp your own "label" to it and sell it as your own creation makes things even worse... Lego doesnt earn anything with hes software (WinToolkit is free, as you probably noticed already), and you are pretty much trying to steal the only thing he gets - credit. It also refers to the intellectual property of Wintoolkit and the wintoolkit runonce program. Exactly... Edited August 22, 2014 by Etz dareckibmw 1 Quote
Legolash2o Posted August 29, 2014 Posted August 29, 2014 That escalated quickly I don't mind having that title customizable but I would probably just add the name Win Toolkit somewhere else. The only reason being that I couldn't think of anything to fill up that space so I just put Win Toolkit installer vx.x.x.x I do agree with the other guys though. Not even sure you can sell customized ISOs. Quote
