Camino Posted July 20, 2014 Posted July 20, 2014 Is there the option available that WinToolkit can remove some or all Metro apps from the wim file?I did try it out with "Win 8.1 Pro integrated with update1". Didn't find this option... Camino Quote

Camino Posted July 21, 2014 Author Posted July 21, 2014 Components Remover already shows Metro apps Thx I didn't use this advanced option before, until now I only used the component remover from the "All in One Integrator". I see that the removing options in the "All In One Integrator" isn't extensive as the one from the advanced section. Is there a reason why the don't have the same removing options? I did tried it out, and the apps are nicely removed. Thx Legolasho Quote

I DL for this, the latest "Windows Assessment and Deployment Kit (Windows ADK)" for Windows 8.1 Update. But It didn't work. So I run the command "DISM /?", the list of available options doesn't show these options /Get-ProvisionedAppxPackages or /Remove-ProvisionedAppxPackage Quote
Legolash2o Posted July 22, 2014 Posted July 22, 2014 Component Remover actually mounts and scans the selected image to see what's in it whilst All-In-One Integrator is just the ones I've added manually. Quote
stefan_syn Posted September 17, 2014 Posted September 17, 2014 well it's not working with version Win Toolkit v1.4.46 and Win Toolkit v1.5.0.13.It seems to me it tries to remove the metro apps but after a short reload of the .wim file the metro apps are again listed in the component remover.any suggestions?
