Posted September 23, 201410 yr I took a fully updated WIN7x64 image that has IE11 integrated and then ran WTK v25 to try and change the default search provider to Google. It adds the it but leaves Bing as the default. Settings.txtRegistry.txt
September 23, 201410 yr I'ev made some changes which has stopped IE11 from saying it's corrupted. However I don't know how to stop it from saying that an unknown program is trying to change the search and asks if agree or not.

September 24, 201410 yr Author Hmmm I just finished a test and but I didn't get that... in fact I still got the same thing I posted here: http://www.wincert.net/forum/topic/12637-google-default-search-tweak-doesnt-work/?p=111360 It does still say that something 'unknown' is trying to change your default search provider when you first load up IE. You just click 'Change'. It's one of the yellow bar things at the bottom so it isn't or popup or anything. Registry.txtgoogle.ini Edited September 24, 201410 yr by compstuff

January 9, 201510 yr Author I know I am bringing up an old thread but I had decided to give this a shot again and found the following thread which explains the actual change in behavior and why we were all unsuccessful at using our original methods to manage this. Needless to say this is NOT a WTK bug  http://www.sevenforums.com/installation-setup/350005-ie-11-default-search-provider-resets-after-sysprep.html Edited January 9, 201510 yr by compstuff
