Legolash2o Posted September 28, 2014 Posted September 28, 2014 Is anyone getting an error when Win Toolkit is trying to save your settings? I'm struggling to reproduce this Error Log Thanks. Quote
Snow Posted September 28, 2014 Posted September 28, 2014 No problem here. Maybe its because of working on desktop : C:\Users\ira\Desktop\Win ToolKit 1.5.1.13 Portable + DISM\Updates\ C:\Users\VADYM\Desktop\Win ToolKit 1.5.1.13 Portable + DISM\Settings.txt Quote
Legolash2o Posted September 28, 2014 Author Posted September 28, 2014 I've copy and pasted onto my desktop with the same folder name. Still works. I think it may be anti-virus :/ Quote
Snow Posted September 28, 2014 Posted September 28, 2014 Oh think you're right. Got similar problem with security essentials long time ago. i had to make an exception in security essentials for all wintoolkit folders and its temp / working folders Quote
Tuesday77 Posted September 28, 2014 Posted September 28, 2014 Had this on older versions, now not more.. Quote
Legolash2o Posted September 28, 2014 Author Posted September 28, 2014 I've made some changes which will hopefully help. Basically it just checks to see if the file is in use and then waits until it is free. Quote
abbodi1406 Posted September 28, 2014 Posted September 28, 2014 Never encountered such error i even copied Wintoolkit to system drive root which is usually extra UAC protected, still works Quote
Legolash2o Posted September 28, 2014 Author Posted September 28, 2014 Hopefully it will no longer be an issue. I did receive an unrelated bug where WinToolkit ran out of memory. :-O Ends up with the user having 6GB /6GB physical memory in use and 25GB/25GB virtual memory in use. Would of loved to know what other programs he had open using that much RAM :-O Quote
