I noticed windows 10 preview had a higher version

6.4.9841.0

 

Any clue what the changes are, and if we can get it on windows 8.1 ?

I have it on my Windows 7, for now as Demo Addon (for they who know "10DISM as old 81DISM") - because some functions didn't work properly, I wont release it

From first glance. It looked pretty much the same.

You just copied the files from 10 to 7 ? any improvements for speed or anything ?

Getting tired of updating a iso and it taking 2 days.

Windows 7's and 8's don't support upgrading - as Pro to ProWMC I think, and also Export don't work with new 6.4.9841 image of Windows 10.

To be frank Guys!.  You cannot service Windows 10 image on a Windows 8.1 PC. I tried to experiment the same it gave me error , and the latest version of DISM as of now 10.10049.0. Sorry!, don't remember the exact error. My mistake should have note it down.

Not true. My system is 8.1 X64. I had no problems upgrading win10 10049 pro image to enterprise image using 10049 dism. Worked with both x86 and x64 windows 10049. Verified that both upgraded enterprise images installed ok and used enterprise key for activation.
