Legolash2o Posted October 22, 2014 Posted October 22, 2014 Hello I was wondering if anyone could download this file and put it in the same folder as WinToolkit.exe:http://wincert.net/leli55PK/updateCache.db [Right-click > Save As] I'm hoping it adds updates to AIO-Integrator quicker. The full version is already in v2.x but I've managed to backport some of it to v1.x My Results [565 Updates]No UpdateCache.db: 1m 51sUpdateCache.db: 7 seconds1585.71% speed increase LOL!! v2.xThe biggest difference with the v2.x version is that it's adds new updated not into the cache to the cache so it grows and only the first time you add the update it runs at the normal standard speed. v1.xThe version in v1.x just reads from the database and doesn't grow. THANKS. Quote

abbodi1406 Posted October 23, 2014 Posted October 23, 2014 It's not working for me somehow, i got the same result with or without it next to WinToolkit.exe i made the test on install.wim without DVD Quote
clarkg888 Posted October 23, 2014 Posted October 23, 2014 There seems to be a small bug with this. When I load the attached preset with UpdateCache.db in the same folder as Wintookit.exe, the RSAT package Windows6.1-KB958830-x64-RefreshPkg.msu doesn't get loaded. I am integrating Windows 7 64 bit. When I remove UpdateCache.db, it loads fine. This is with WinToolkit 1.5.2.15 running under Windows XP. There is no error message when loading from the preset, or adding via "Add Updates + Subfolders" options. When I add that one update via "Add Updates", I get this error message: Title: 1 update(s) skipped.ErrType: ErrorDescription: More information is available by clicking the '>> Details' button.Exception:Invalid architecture: 'F:\WHD\Updates\Windows7-x64\Extra\RSAT\Windows6.1-KB958830-x64-RefreshPkg.msu' Thanks,Clark.x64 20141023 1.ini Quote
