Because your image-version is that one from Win7 RTM. From your log:Image Version: 6.1.7600.16385Should be 6.1.7601.17514. Are you working as admin?Access is denied. Regards, Thiersee Quote
hayedeh Posted November 10, 2014 Author Posted November 10, 2014 Thanks dude, please help me a little more: 1. What do you mean by image of Windows 7 SP1? I have downloaded .iso of Win7Pro SP1 x64 from Digital River and extracted the whole contents, so what should I do? 2. Win Toolkit is always run as Admin, so yes it's Admin, something else I am missing? I am also Admin of PC. Thanks. Quote

abbodi1406 Posted November 10, 2014 Posted November 10, 2014 Unlike x86, Win7 SP1 x64 image version in default is reported by dism as 6.1.7600.16385 Quote

hayedeh Posted November 10, 2014 Author Posted November 10, 2014 (X17-xxxxx) sorry I renamed the iso file and I don't know which image was that, but I'm sure it's the latest version, after installing it shows 6.1.7601... Quote
abbodi1406 Posted November 10, 2014 Posted November 10, 2014 (edited) Are you shure? WinToolkit: NTLite: ThierseeWhen using x86 dism, the Win7 SP1 x64 version is reported as 6.1.7601.17514but when using x64 dism, the Win7 SP1 x64 is reported as 6.1.7600.16385the cause of this confusion is when servicing x64 image using x86 dism, Windows\SysWOW64\Dism\DismHost.exe from the image is used (and its version 6.1.7601.17514)but when servicing it using x64 dism, Windows\System32\Dism\DismHost.exe is used (and its version is 6.1.7600.16385) Edited November 10, 2014 by abbodi1406 Quote

abbodi1406 Posted November 11, 2014 Posted November 11, 2014 Does the actual dism report 6.1.7601.17514? for me i get 6.1.7600.16385 on x64 system:it seems something not solid, so 6.1.7600.16385 doesn't always means RTMsorry for hijacking your thread hayedeh Quote
