Posted November 21, 201410 yr I have been using WTK for a few months. I noticed by accident that smartscreen is turned (off as the default) when I install Win 7 from iso's created by WTK. I am using WTK to integrate IE11 and well as updates etc. By default in a non wtk install I believe smartscreen is turned on. Is there a reason or setting for this?regards...
November 24, 201410 yr Hmm, Smartscreen is turned on in my custom Win7 X64 wintoolkit-created install. But I've got a bunch of IE customizations through .reg files I add, but nothing related to Smartscreen (as far as I know).
November 27, 201410 yr Author that's not the case here. I do not have any reg fixes or IE11 enhancements, changes etc. on first boot and first starting IE11 its off and it needs to be turned on.. No idea why!regards..
