I don't really like 7zip icons so I use WinRAR as default viewer, I just use the 7zip shell extension mostly for those addons that really need uber compression

Hence, I prefer 7Zip's slick and simple one

Dunno if there's themes for WinRar (then again I still wouldn't use it since 7z is open source and free!)

Could explain how to update the addons with the patched 7z.dll?

Extract 7zipAddOnName.rar then the 7zip.cab thats inside to subfolders of the same name

Download and replace the 7z.dll that is in the extracted 7zip.cab folder

Repack the cab and zip as it was before and done.

repack the cab using what?

IZArc or TUGZip or cabtools or Microsoft Cabinet Software Development Kit and so on, and so on

The first link isn't down... It lack the filename "Ricks_7-Zip4.56b_AddOn.rar" in it... Just add the filename at the end of the adress when you get the error page :icon_cool:
